4.28.18 I LOVE their food, but the constant ridiculous interactions with their employees bothers me. Out of cheese, out of change, credit card machine not working, out of salsa, getting over charged and sign having different prices are all things I have dealt with on multiple occasions at this location.
On my last visit (this weekend) the cc machines where down again and I was over charged. I ordered chips with pico and extra cheese. The girl must have been new because she charged me $4.99 which is the price for chips and guacamole. When I mentioned that this price was different then every other time I order this she insisted that chips and salsa with extra cheese is $4.99. So I paid got a receipt and drove around to the price board and confirmed. $3.49 for chips and salsa, not $4.99.
It wouldn't be as big of a deal if the is wasn't the 3rd time I have been over charged at this location and I didn't even get extra cheese!
I would suggest that people make the drive to another location. But on my last visit to a different one their were a couple customers were shooting heroine in the bathrooms! So idk which is worse, you choose lol.
5.26.18 - Went there again twice today. First visit they were only accepting cash no Credit Cards. I didn't have cash so I didn't get food. Went again later in the evening. The price sign shows a picture of coke zero and a price of $4.99 for the steak breakfast burrito. I ordered mine with no Pico and the lady repeated that back to me. They don't have coke zero, my burrito cost $5.49 and I get home to have nasty warm pico in my burrito!
06.022.19 I dont know why I keep going to this location. The food is usually delicious but there is still always something wrong with staff/order. Ive had several poor experiences since my last post. Last time I received a veggie burrito instead of my steak breakfast. Today I ordered a steak breakfast burrito without pico. When she handed me the bag I checked the bag it had no burrito. So I sat there and waited. The chef and register gal were both new. I watched as together they eventually figured it out and then the gal handed me the burrito with a chuckle. All of the prices have gone up and now its only 1 salsa per item. So it was $13.56 for a burrito chips and a drink. I got home to find that my burrito had the pico still in it which I dont like, but even worse it was about half the size of their typical burrito. The chips pico and cheese had almost no cheese. Overall another big Viva let down experience. I was really hoping the move might improve things but I think...
Read moreThis morning was by far the worst experience by any means with dealing with the staff at VIVA on broadway and camino seco. After waiting nearly a half hour for my very simple order of a breakfast burrito and 3 rolled tacos they managed to still serve my food cold only while making fun of another customer inside of the store that was homeless I then proceeded to turn back around and walk in the store while these young ladies continued to laugh and pick on the old man that was completely helpless but continued to be in my space I felt extremely uncomfortable and asked the gentleman step back away from me and give me some space as I was extremely upset as for the last month my husband has been working extremely long days throughout the night to the morning sunrise on a very large mural project acquiring services from Viva Burrito on some a day-to-day basis every evening and every instance has been an unpleasant experience every opportunity has arisen to where my husband is just too tired to make a fuss this is the fifth attempt to request a receipt or at this point I was so angry as I know what my husband has endured and dealt with this now going on an hour at this facility and requested a complete refund of my $7.50 which I had no proof of purchasing because the young lady had never given me my receipt by then received my refund and drove down to the Viva Burrito on golflinks and wilmot where I was gladly greeted by a young man named Alex who had excellent customer service skills and my food was prepared and provided to me within a timely manner he then went on to advise that I contact corporate which I have every intent to do first thing this morning however I just wanted this to be notated that if you are reading this and you are the young ladies that were working at this facility at this time I feel your parents would be beside themselves with your actions and the way that you behaved because from Where I Stood you looked as if you had been raised with absolutely no morals instilled whatsoever. I will update this with what may come about after speaking with corporate in hopes that we may feel comfortable returning to this location after having delt with such horrible...
Read moreThey took a very long time to give me my food through the drive thru, about 10-15min to give me super papas, that’s it super papas, not even a long list of food items—it was about 3pm and there wasn’t that many ppl it wasn’t lunch hour either. I was patient and didn’t say anything. I got my food they didn’t apologize for the wait or anything, and that’s fine I understand places are understaffed right now but it still would’ve been courteous. Anyway once I drove away a couple blocks I noticed they forgot to put in a fork. I did not have one with me and so I had to drive back which with traffic it took a minute. When I went inside the guy who assisted me told me I didn’t ask for one and they only give them to ppl who buy combos with the rice and beans—I told him I got super papas these aren’t plain fries they have carne asada, pico de gallo, and a bunch of stuff mixed in —he said they don’t give forks for these. I asked if people are supposed to eat these with their hands and he said yes I was shocked and turned around to leave and he says “yeah you’re fancy” meaning that I’m being “extra” for wanting a fork to eat these? lol—Um I’ve bought these before at different places and ALWAYS get a fork I’ve never seen anyone eat this with their hands either, so I was really thrown off by that comment which was unnecessary. It would've been more appropriate for the employee/manager to apologize for not adding a fork and left it at that. Bad service sucks, and I will not be going back to any Viva Burrito, there's plenty other options that offer the same type of food.
Also kind of funny, but that guacamole looks gross it’s sooo dark why would they serve it like...
