This was the first and last stop of our Bar Hop. We were able to raise over $10,000 to help a friend of our Legion Post 0308 with their medical bills. This was an absolute amazing experience. We were able to ride with the Sons of Legion, biker group to multiple bars throughout the cities. They were so great to me and Hubby while we drove our car from bar to bar with them. They were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we need to participate and have fun. I was able to help out by making 2 pans of mac & cheese, one with Caso cheese the other with Cheddar cheese. I hope you all liked. The bartender was friendly, and they had a decent metal band, named The Joint Effect, playing an excellent acoustic set. The carpet is a little frayed and the tile was old, but that's fine with me. A friendly little blue collar, neighborhood bar, with real folks serving cold beer and warm spirits at a fair price. The kind of place you can have a drink after work and not be wedged between a couple of assholes that remind you of your boss. Kelli, the bartender with the pretty smile and auburn pony tail, will pour you a cold mug of beer and make you feel welcome after a hard day at work. I go to watch my husband play in pool league on Tuesday nights. They often have potluck dinners for patrons. The staff are friendly, the people that play pool or just hang out are pretty mellow. Great jukebox, plays anything and everything. Clean restrooms! That is a deal breaker for me and are a must! The only thing I have had issues with is the ventilation system.
