A Working Man's Mexican Lunch! The parking lot was packed with various industry service trucks. We had to park on the street. Fortunately, inside there were still tables available. The diners were there for several good reasons: good food, good portions and good fast service. The menu is of mostly traditional Mexican food, but not bland Mexican food. The meal comes with chips and salsa. There was a traditional red salsa and they serve a roasted jalapeno salsa. Upon request you can get a hotter chipotle salsa that has been warmed. All were a little different in flavors than any other I have had at a Mexican restaurant, all of them good. The Pollo Loco and the Enchilada Trio were both very good. The chicken in the Pollo Rancho was seasoned and covered in a queso. I ordered a chili toreado to round out the meal. There was enough food on the plates that we took home left overs and enjoyed the meal again. The inside of the restaurant was nothing special. It was clean and functional. It was a nice surprise and a very good lunch! If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" on Yelp. I've probably been there.

Definitely one of top contenders for top Mexican places in Tulsa. Far more Mexican then Tex-mex, but with definite influences. This is going in my regular rotation of restaurants. The salsa was solid, the guac was good, the good was great, and portion sizing healthy but filling. Rankings Salsa 7/10 - above average, not chunky, and very likely homemade. Unique Guac - very chunky, all veggies perfectly cubed, delicious flavor, and great texture Chimichanga - delicious! Great crunchy texture, heavy on the meat pastor was flavorful and not super fatty, great texture, smaller then other places but in a way that lends the meal good portion sizing. Taco salad - small, but good regular portion sizes. Delicious seasoned beef. Great fresh lettuce.

What a great find! Family ran Mexican restaurant that's incredible! We had queso that was very good, I had the ribs in a verde sauce that was stellar and the beans were very good. Wife had cheese and pork enchiladas with red and green sauce which we're all excellent. The salsa was tasty with a mild kick and the dark sauce shown has to be tasted to be believed, it's very unique. I also tried the ceviche that was also really good. Excellent service too, very friendly staff!

I really, really wanted to like this place. Maybe because I went late (8:30pm) but the meats used in the food were unrecognizable and dry. Ordered a chicken, pork, and steak taco and while the tortilla was good the meats were so incredibly dry it was almost inedible. The meats are cut into tiny, tiny pieces that the pork and steak both looked like dried out hamburger. Also ordered two chicken and two steak flautas. Same meat was used in those. They put avocado and salad on top so the flautas are soggy. Maybe this was a fluke. Who knows. I really wanted to love it because it's so close to my house but I don't know if I'll give it a...
