A Monday, 9:30pm DoorDash delivery: KUNG PAO CHICKEN/ 9.99. ⭐️ All dark meat (1st time I ever saw that. Not my fav). Too-large cubes of raw carrots, green peppers, & some celery. I want that stir-fry al dente, but not like this! Requested more Hot, it had none at all. Not even one 🌶️ to be found. Sauce was just okayish.

PORK MU SHU/ $13.19.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For casual takeout, THIS is exactly what I want: that specific flame-seared, seasoned wok taste you can’t replicate at home on an electric cooktop. Very generous portions of tender pork & all the usual crunchy shredded veg. in the traditional sweet/ savory hoisin sauce w/ 4 won ton wrappers.

FRIED RICE: ⭐️ Um, what is this? It’s just yellow (turmeric?) steamed rice w/ a fragment of egg but no carrots or peas or anything else. I’ve never seen this anywhere else either.

Sauce packets are typical faux, non-fermented, colored soy, etc. All portions are generous, it arrived still hot, & I would order here again. Except the Kung Pao. Nope. Xie xie :)

PS: I’d eaten a lot out of the Mu Shu already- it comes packed...

I’ve had bad “Chinese” food before, wherein after eaten I simply just did not order from that establishment again. But Hot Wok deserves a review.

This is hands down one of the worst excuses for “Chinese food” my family and I have ever had. It tastes like it’s leftovers from last week, reheated several times over. We literally threw it in the trash and are headed out to get something else for dinner. That’s $31.25 wasted—with hope that it doesn’t turn into a family visit to the ER.

The sesame chicken tastes like it’s dipped in BBQ sauce from McDonald’s; the rice tastes like it was found behind another restaurant and reused; and the shrimp tastes like it was killed a year ago and marinated in cow dung.

And let’s not speak of the after taste! I may have to go lick my dog’s butt to get the taste out of my mouth.

*While some of my review is in jest, I sincerely plead with anyone who reads this, please don’t waste your money...move on, the food is garbage...

Ordered my food online and went to pick it up and the man was very rude to me telling me to read the sign but it was two or three other people that were ahead of me and he was not rideto them at all and when I showed him my phone to let h know that I had ordered my food he still was being rude and didn't even ask me my name like he did the other three people that were in front of me. I'm not trying to make this a racial thing but it sometimes make you think that way because a lot of us have messed things up for a lot of us but it's just sad I am going to say that how people treat other people now days there is no peace what's so ever and it some times make you want to cry for people because they are so bitter and agree at everybody because they are so made at themselves and for what it ain't the other...

It was raining, so the wife and I thought we'd call in some Chinese food. This was the closest place with delivery, so we figured we'd give it a shot. We ordered the beef and broccoli dinner and the orange chicken dinner, and cheese wontons. We waited 58 minutes for the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. Barely edible. Even if the food were good, the portions are absurd. The entree is served in the two small sections, with rice the large section. The "sweet and sour" sauce tasted like vinegar, and the cheese wontons had only traces of cheese. All around terrible, but the staff was friendly on the phone.

Wonderful staff and food! Ordered ahead for take away. My rather large order was ready when I arrived. Purchased several chicken dishes, lo-mein dishes, pork egg rolls and an appetizer sampler. Received sesame balls and 5PC mango mousse cake free! Never had these wonderful little balls before but my goodness I will order next time. They are great dipped in sesame sauce. What a great tasting bonus. Definitely deserved the large tip as I want to support small places and hard workers. See a few photos. Did not photograph all but may add. Great eats!
