OMG...this JUST happened! I'm at work and order Jason's Deli on 15th street in Tulsa thru Door Dash. It's close to their closing time but I was still well inside their order parameter. I get a confirmation and then I wait and wait, keep looking at my app and notice that the pickup time for my order keeps being pushed back. By this time, I knew that the store was closed but I called the Deli to check and this wonderful person named Sheila picked up. I told her my problem and she informed me that my order was sitting ready, waiting for the Dasher. She took my number and hung up and then called the Dasher herself, and then called me right back. The Door Dash app had crashed and the Dashers were not able to see where to pick up orders. Anyway, Sheila suggested I cancel the order (I did) and then did something absolutely above and beyond. She offered to bring the food herself after she closed the store. I was in SHOCK. She had already done more than most would and now was offering to deliver my food herself on her OWN time. She is an absolute gem! She showed up within minutes after letting me know she was on her way and handed me food with the biggest smile. What a PLUS to Jason's Deli or any establishment that would have her working for them. Thanks Sheila for saving a fat guys life...
Read moreThey stuck it to me for over $400 dollars by delivering a catering order I only wanted a quote on.They did not note that it was a quote and went ahead and made the order. Then they realized they didn't have payment and called me 3 hours before the event to confirm the "order" and location and didn't announce who they were, I stupidly assumed it was the vendor I actually went with and spoke to the day before, Lambrusco's (hadn't spoke to Jason's in over two weeks). I stupidly gave them my cc # thinking I was giving it to Lambrusco's.They delivered the food and had some stranger at the meeting sign my cc receipt and bolted before I got there. I called them as soon as the meeting was over and neither the manager of the Cherry St. store or the owner of the franchise would compensate me back 1 cent for the mix-up or take any ownership for the mistake on their end. On the plus, side I got to make a lot of hungry homeless people downtown very happy that day, but SHAME on Jason's Deli for doing that...
Read moreOrdered the Amy Turkey-O and it should be called the Amy Turkey-NO!! Ordered Jason’s Deli on my last day of internship to celebrate with everyone and the sandwich was completely overpriced and put together horribly! I didn’t even have a full SLICE of avocado, barely any turkey, the tomato was super small and the middle of it was hard and inedible. I had a half a piece of lettuce, and on top of that they didn’t add the mayo I requested so it was completely DRY bc they obviously didn’t care to put enough mustard on it either. The bread was hard as a brick around all the edges and after peeling off the hard ends and compiling what little they gave me, I was left with a sandwich so small, I had to get something from the vending machine at work!! I will never spend my money at this establishment again!!! The only thing that was good were the lay’s chips bc Jason’s Deli didn’t have to make those. The proof is in the pudding…hence the picture. The...
