Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Tulsa

I want to say a big thank you to Kendall my delivery driver. He drove in the heavy rain and climbed the steep steps up to my condo to deliver all of my items. There were some things missing, and Kendall went over my ticket with me and apologized and asked me to call the store manager to get things corrected. I spoke to Robert on the phone at the store and he was patient, kind and understanding. We figured out what happened was actually a glitch in the website that didn't put my complete order through so he waived the delivery fee and I paid for the items over the phone. I have been ordering a lot from this location lately and every single time they have not let me down. My food is here within a reasonable time and its fresh and hot. I know that working in restraunts can be very demanding but the level of sincerity these 2 gentleman had over me and my website/food issues was unbelievable. I never had any bad pizzas or unpleasant interaction with any of their in-store staff or delivery personnel. I can highlight 2 examples:

1. I wasn't sure I had ordered a clean-cut for my on-line order and when I called, the staff was willing to do it for me without any hesitation.
2. I ordered 2 XL cheese pizzas online and when I arrived for pick up I received 3! According to staff, one of the pizzas "did not look good due to some bubbling" and they made another one and gave the imperfect one to me for free. The in-store staff showed me the "incorrect" pizza and if she had not shown me, I would not have noticed that the pizza was not perfect. They didn't have to replace it but they did. That's exceptional customer service.

I really appreciate their honesty and their staying true to their high standards. When I needed pizza, I don't go elsewhere....

The employees were great. The pizza was well made. The problem is the ingredients. I'm very healthy and fit person. My stomach started to hurt after 2 slices. The cheese texture is absolutely gross 🤢. The cheese does not pull it's so full of fat it seperates as the pizza cools down. The dough is so bad for something that's not frozen. I've had better frozen pizza that this pile of fat and the cheapest ingredients you can probably buy. Little Caesars blows papa John's out of the water. That's a low bar......... I will never buy Papa John's pizza again. I'm won't even eat it if it was free. The single topping large pepperoni pizza has 2800 calories. It's because of the bottom barrel ingredients they use. I guarantee you if you ate Papa John's once a day for a week it will make you sick. It's not surprising they are on the verge...
