Brookside Church — Attraction in Tulsa

I witnessed genuine care and concern for others in services . ive seen a concern ti reach children and make sunday school fun by the decore of childrens dept. As in bible times. Ive seen an outreach to lical schools with needs for less fortunate familys at easter thanksgiving and christmas. Ive seen an open food bank to help the needs of others. I witnessed salvations, baptisims , and joyoues times in fellowship. No church body is perfect thats one reason we go to church .ive seen alot of ppl comments on here about being shamefull and getting into politics .idk i wasnt there .i do agree no church should ever be a polling place ever...i do agree church should not get into politics .in any form of endorsement or backing or whatever. But what disturbs me even more is the nasty hatefull comments ppl have left on here .i wonder how many of them call themselfs christian. Im reminded of a story in the bible where a.village of ppl were going to stone a woman because of her sin jesus stepped up and drew something in the sand looked at the ppl said he without sin cast the first stone . and while the church leadership may have made a mistake it is these ppl throwing stones making a bigger one ...praying hod opens hearts and...

Unless churches decide to pay taxes they SHOULD NEVER try to influence an election. Shame on fake Christians. Jesus is about charity, kindness, forgiving, doing for others. JESUS was the original socialist. Do you really think he’d promote a system where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer? Do you think he’d turn away the hungry and the poor from the richest nation on earth where we waste so much? Do you think Jesus would own a gun? What do you think Jesus would say about a non-stop lair? Or somebody that was married 3 times? Or cheated on every wife? Or conned people out of money? Or conned the uneducated and those with low IQ’s to support him with his lies and “ alternative facts”? Or cheated the people of a nation? Or surrounds himself with criminals? Or who supports a HORRIBLE man, like the president of Russia? Hmmm. Hypocrisy at its best. Love all, give to all. Love trumps hate. Thanks for clearly stating yourself as a “fake” church. Saves us real Christians time and energy. We will...

I am 45 and NEVER been to church in my life with the only the exception of family deaths. Pastor Brandon and Pastor Dale took my fiance and myself into their church with such love. They actually care and will even call or visit in people's times of needs. I was even baptised foe the first time ever on February 2018 as was my fiance. I was raised to believe in Jesus but my parents never went to church and now they have passed and that am going every Sunday, I also knew I would never feel comfortable at a Mega Church AMD Brookside Baptist is the PERFECT size. Everyone gets the help and attention they need. I feel wonderful all that day and all the week long after services and I look forward into doing more for the church. More than attending Sunday services. I never knew or thought knowing and accepting God and Jesus would make me and my life feel so much different I'm great ways and change how I view life in general I'm so happy and blessed to have found...
