Iguana Island Treats — Restaurant in Tulsa

My dad and I went here for the first time last night. My dad has diabetes so he ordered a Sugar Free Tiger’s Blood; the girl who gave him his cup said, “this is the sugar free one,” so there was no confusion on what he ordered. About 2-4 hours later he checked his blood sugar because he was feeling bad and it was at 430(meaning the snow cone wasn’t sugar free). Luckily he had his medicine and didn’t have to go to the ER. I wasn’t sure whether or not the girl who made the snow cones made a mistake so I went back today to let the manager know what happened just to let her and her staff know to be more careful because that kind of confusion/mistake is dangerous especially for diabetics. She pushed the blame off onto my father for eating it claiming you “could tell the difference” between their sugar free and not sugar free(we had never been here before), and also said there wasn’t much she could do about it besides, “maybe train her girls some more.” Very disappointed with her complacency when her product put my father and could possibly put others at risk. Will not be coming back and WILL NOT...

If you haven't tried a whip, or as I like to call them, fun frozen drinks/slush. You need to treat yourself. They have a large selection of flavors. You can mix and match the flavors or pick from their prepared combinations. I got the California Surf, pineapple, strawberry and coconut. Perfect treat for our hot summer days. They have a drive thru and a walk up window. They also have umbrella covered tables. You could even take it home and mix with "something" stronger if you wanted! Can you tell I really like them? Oh and they do have some flavors that are sugar...

I am addicted to this place! I go like every day! I love how they have different types of specialty whips every day. My favorites are the strawberry whip, the banana whip, and the lemon whip! I also really love their sno-balls. They make them with really soft ice so you can actually taste the flavor unlike some other snow cone places that have crunchy ice. I’m also impressed with their Covid-19 procedures! The employees are always wearing masks and gloves, and there is also plexiglass to keep everyone safe. Love this place!! I recommend it to anyone...
