Last night, I placed an online order around 9:10 PM with ready time of 9:30. At 9:40, my phone starts ringing nonstop call after call. I declined, but it kept ringing, making it seem like someone was desperately trying to track me down. My wife even gave me a suspicious look because of how relentless it was.
When I finally answered, it was Qdoba. A woman on the line told me my order was ready but that they were closing right now. I told her that Google lists their closing time as 10 PM, but she insisted they close at 9:40 and that they’re supposed to be out the door by 10. I let her know I was only a mile away and would be there in minutes.
When I arrived, she looked at me and said, “Sorry, I was really rude on the phone, but we’re supposed to be gone by 10.” I reminded her that Google says they close at 10, and she just gave me a weird look. At that point, I grabbed my food and left.
This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. If this is how she treats customers, she’s costing your company money. Meanwhile, the other employee on shift clearly knew she was in the wrong. you could tell by his body language that he was uncomfortable with the situation. He was professional;...
Read moreI am only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because Qdoba consistently tastes better than other burrito chains, and this one was no exception, in my opinion. The main issue at this one was the service. I understand if people are having a bad day, but I was pretty shocked by the state of things overall. The line was extremely slow, the 2 workers were difficult to hear with no other customers in the building, our burritos were shoved in foil without being folded (seriously, one was completely falling apart with no tucked edges, another was folded extremely strangely and resembled a diaper more than a burrito), and then they accidentally overcharged our card an extra meal. When we pointed this out on the receipt, they didn't know how to fix it, so we waited while they called someone to try to figure it out. They ended up just giving us cash out of the till because they couldn't figure it out over the phone. I felt kind of bad for them, but at the same time I think we most likely won't be back to this location because it wasn't worth all of the trouble. So if you have ample time to spare and don't mind eating a burrito with a fork, this place might be for you, otherwise...
Read moreWell I attempted to dine there this past weekend. It was around 7pm when I arrived and I asked the gentleman working did they have more veggies. He said he can cook some. Ok so I decided to wait, but after watching him struggle with just trying to find veggies for 15 minutes and then chop for another 10 minutes I was a little agitated. So finally after almost 30 minutes of waiting for veggies they are ready. So I told him I have 2 bowls he starts making them then asking what meat I replied Steak. Then after 5 minutes of fumbling around he says we’re out of steak. Ok chicken then here he goes looking for chicken. Comes back and said we’re out. So you spent 30 minutes cooking veggies and didn’t even look to see it you had meat. At this point I said have a good night and left. But the Qudoba reign of terror doesn’t stop there. I proceeded to go to the 71st and Lewis location. Well I went in the employee working looks at me put his head Down and walked in the back. I waited for at least 5 minutes he never returned. It has been awhile since I have eaten Qudoba I guess it gonna be...
