I’ve came here twice and both experiences the workers have made me very uncomfortable. I was trying to ask if I could do Apple Pay and the girl told me no, to download the app and pay through there which I tried to do but the app wouldn’t work. So I asked if they could just enter my card information (which they let me do at the other sonic no problem) and she said no because it may not be my card. I offered to show her my ID and a picture of my card where my name matches and she still refused. I asked to speak with the manager thinking maybe she would understand and help a customer out, and she goes “hi I’m the manager how may I help you” with the most smug face and rude tone. She knew what I was needing help with but decided to be a straight up jerk. This time today when I went, I had received my food and said very politely “I’m just going to check the bag real quick” which I always do because of passed experiences from going home and things missing. After I said that, she said “okay” but with a very nasty expression on her face. I work in the serving industry so it is very sad to see people lack the capability to be polite in basic conversations. We don’t normally leave reviews, but my mom shudders every time she sees a Sonic commercial now. The day we came the service was extremely slow. The girl who took our order messed up our order and left off something on our order. She and the manager were rude to us when we tried to correct the order. They had us waiting at the window while they kept running stuff out the door to people waiting in line behind us instead of having us pull forward and serving other customers like most places do. Most people only got drinks, and now we know why. The food was inedible, but my mom tried forcing some of it down anyway. The burger was burnt to a crisp, the hot dog was bloody and open, and the fries were a burnt, greasy mess. Sonic can have decently good food, but don’t waste your time or money coming here. Read moreI had a craving for a strawberry slush and noticed the app had a promotion for half price drinks when you order ahead. There was an offer for a free cold brew as well with any order. After pulling into a stall, I customized my drinks to taste and tried to place my order. After waiting multiple times for the app to process the order I was met each time with a "something went wrong" error. I restarted my phone and tried again, same thing. After restarting app multiple times, it started to decline a card that I had checked was good to go, no issues and plenty of credit. 15-20 min later of hassle, I pressed the button and the rep had stated he knew about the app having issues and was unwilling to work with me for a resolution other than "nothing I can do".
