Samario's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Tunkhannock

Well I travel a lot for work. So I am always on the hunt for a good pizza shop. Samario’s was the one I came across in Tunkhannock. Man what a pleasure to get food from these folks. I ordered three different times during my stay in the area. The first order was a Meatball Italiano and man what a hoagie. The meatballs are soft and tender and full of flavor the others ingredients on the hoagie add to the flavor profile. Also got some fried pizza which was on special. Loved the crust and the sauce is amazing. The second time I got a Stuffed Chicago pizza Danielle’s Favorite. All the toppings that are stuffed into the pizza is incredible it’s close to eating a Italian hoagie on a pizza. I added a cannoli for dessert. Yum! The third time I wanted to try one of their other hoagies so I went with the Ultimate Italian. This hoagie packs a punch and is truly ultimate. From the amount of meat and cheese on it. To the roasted peppers, Italian seasoning, and oil and vinegar. Just phenomenal. Once again they had fried pizza on special and how can I not resist and grab a few slices. Delicious doesn't even come close to describing Samario's Pizzeria. My wife and I, along with a few friends, were staying in Tunkhannock for the weekend for a wedding. Needing a place to eat, we decided on Samario's and were blown away. We ended up getting two cheesesteaks, a Chicago deep dish pizza, two hoagies, and two sides of fries. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we could not conquer the mountain of food before us. The pizza was hands down one of the best pizzas we've had the pleasure of tasting. The cheesesteaks are stuffed to the top; no amount of annoying extra bread was left over. I would sign my soul away to have those waffle fries and garlic parmesan fries every day. The wife and I are heavily considering making a drive just to eat at Samario's in the near future, even if it's two hours away. I personally dealt with the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in any business in NEPA at both the Scranton and Tunkhannock locations. They were so completely rude beyond measure from the second I walked in the door and this was from the owners themselves. I not only experienced it myself first hand, but I also witnessed them disrespect other customers in front of me. I have worked in the service industry for a good portion of my life and I have never seen such unprofessionalism from any person in business than I have with these individuals. I absolutely would never refer their businesses to any person I know. After sharing my experience with multiple people, apparently I am not the only person who has been mistreated in this manner.
