Kraving Kebab Pizza — Restaurant in Turlock

Kebab + pizza = heaven. This joint had quick service, a very tasty and unique pizza and the sweetest staff ever.

The kebab pizza features plenty of meat (we tried the chicken) and lots of finely chopped veggies. I loved the finely chopped veggies because they kept the pizza from being soggy but also allowed them to be piled on! If I wanted to give a single insanely minor complaint it would be that the chicken was a teensy bit dry but that is majorly minor. Food was solid and came out quickly!

Place is a sports bar like atmosphere but it isn't super noisy or distracting which was nice. It is casual and easy going and the seating is fairly intimate which was a nice change. Definitely a nice place to get a bite if you're passing through Turlock and want to grab a bite and relax for a bit.

The dude working the front of the house was very sweet. He answered our questions well and was super helpful. He even invited us back despite me and my friend both living 3 hours away in opposite directions and told us he looked forward to seeing us next time even if it wasn't until 2020's...

The customer service for my wife and I was great. Friendly staff, quick service as one would expect.

We bought Garlic Fries, which have been the best my wife and I ever had. I am not a fan of Garlic Fries and I even fell in love with them. The perfect blend of herb, parmesan and garlic. We came to find out they make their own mix for the fries! Awesome flavor for sure.

Their atmosphere is spacious for the most part. They have several TVS throughout the lobby for people who are interested in watching sports. There is a combination seating options, high table seating, regular table seating and booths.

We also ordered a regular pepperoni pizza. The crust was made to perfection. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The mozzarella is good quality, stretches for days and has good flavor. The red sauce has balance of flavor with good quality pepperoni.

My wife and I were in town to get a couple of things done and wanted to try something new. We are definitely glad we stopped here at Kraving...

I found out about this place after we were were invited to go eat. I've always wanted to try it out but never had the opportunity, not to mention the world decided to check out for a while. We started out the event with their loaded fries that came with Gyro meat which surprised me. I wasn't expecting it to be as flavorful as it was and if I remember correctly, it's a combination of beef and lamb. Then my lunch plate came, and that came with kebab (beef) and shawarma (pork). The food did not disappoint not to mention filling. For those that aren't as adventurous, they also have your traditional pizza. I haven't tried it out yet, but I will in my next outing to the area. You can't complete an outing without dessert. Cue the baklava. I've tried out in other occasions and wasn't really in the mood cuz of my previous experience with it, but this tasted way differently (in a good way). That I'll definitely have again.
