The BEST ICE CREAM! 🍨 No other ice cream shop even comes close to the Oak Barrel Ice & Creamery! There is a wide variety of flavors, classics like chocolate, vanilla, rocky road, cookies and cream and hard to find flavors like black or red licorice, blackberry balsamic and pineapple coconut. Also available are non-fat, non-dairy, gluten free... Ice cream is available in scoops or pints which are easy to take home, and there are floats and freezes too! Employees, and the owner, are always friendly and there is a comfortable, home town feeling. I think my favorite ice cream is Red Licorice and my favorite freeze is made with Meyers Lemon! This place has some seriously creamy and delicious ice cream. We were visiting from out of the area and a relative who lives in Turlock recommended we give it a try. My family usually goes for the Thrifty ice cream counter at one of the Rite Aids in town for the ever-so-delicious chocolate malted crunch, but we were up to try something new. I'm glad we did because Oak Barrel was next level ice cream. I had their own version of a malted chocolate which was good. I also had the chocolate peanut butter chunk, which was amazing.
