Tacos el Compita, a popular food truck located on Lander in Turlock, offers a delightful array of Mexican street food that promises to tantalize your taste buds. Known for its bold flavors and fresh ingredients, Taco El Compita has quickly become a favorite among locals and tourists alike.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly the Quesabirria Tacos. These tacos feature nice crunch, juicy birria with a side of consomé along with toppings : onion, cilantro and can’t forget the radishes, pickled onions and jalapeños. And if you like to add tangy lime they also include them. Each bite is a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. We also tried the Birria Wet Burrito, which was generously stuffed with tender, mouth watering birria, rice, beans, and a zesty salsa. The freshness of the ingredients and the skillful seasoning made every mouthful delicious. Last but not least the Tacos de Papa dorado, delish!! They were supper crunchy topped with lettuce , tomatoes, avocado ripe to perfection and some cheese and sour cream.

The service at Taco El Compita is top-notch. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about their food. They took the time to explain the menu and offered recommendations based on my preferences. Despite the long line of eager customers, my food was prepared with a smile. I do have to warn you good food takes a minute to prep so if your not in a rush sir back and relax and try the agua de horchata or Jamaica they offer.

There are a few picnic tables where you can enjoy your meal. The food trucks en picnic tables are located under a big canopy so you don’t have to worry about the direct sunlight hitting you.

Considering the quality and portion sizes, Taco El Compita offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially for Turlock, and the food is worth every penny.

I’d been hearing about this taco truck everywhere so I had to see what the hype was about. & honestly? The food did not disappoint! Super flavorful & definitely hit the spot.

Now… let’s talk about the truck itself. 😅 There were a lot of flies everywhere, the inside was messy & the outside of the truck def could use a cleaning too. I know, I know… you’re probably wondering why I still ate here if it was dirty and had flies everywhere. But listen, I prayed over my food and I was super hungry. 😂

All in all, bomb food, just hoping they tighten up the cleanliness a bit because the flavors really deserve a cleaner...

This taco truck is consistently good! I was looking for a new go to spot in town that wasn’t a sit down restaurant and this taco truck is the perfect remedy! I’ve been here 3-4 times now and each time the food has been great, they provide extra salsa, limes, radish, onion and basically the sides you would expect with your meal.
