Tacos el Hidalguense — Restaurant in Turlock

I have gone to this truck a few times in the last couple of months to see it’s consistency, and to give it a fair chance. I do not live in turlock and have only been here for work, and i love visiting different taco trucks around my work area. This one by far had the best tacos, the crispy to soft feel of their tortillas is unmatched. The burritos are the same way, i can say that the salsa they have could use a slight bit more flavor, but the hear is there and it lasts very briefly, but a amazing brief heat. Nothing over the top. The flavor of their different meats is very good as well and they really make it so hard for you to pick and choose which ones you like more because they are all excellent. The Pastor tacos has to be my favorite and the Asada burrito is also a very good option. I tried their tortas once and it was not super special but everything you would expect a good torta to be. I am currently 14 years old and have been going to this taco truck since I was 8 years old. The food is amazing and the people are nice. The food takes a decent time to prepare, around 10 minutes. However, the atmosphere is minimalistic, it is a truck in a parking lot with 2 long benches and a tarp to cover it.
