7 Brew in Tuscaloosa is literally the best coffee experience in town! Starbucks could learn a thing or two. From the folks who come out and work the lines taking orders in all weather conditions to the folks handing you your coffee at the drive thru, everyone is smiling, friendly and treats you like you are the most important person that will visit there today. I stop in at least once a day, and Ive never had an unpleasant visit or interaction. Everyone smiles and waves as they see me in my Stark truck in line. My order has always been correct, and in my opinion, the coffee is so much better than anywhere else. Many others must share my opinion as theres never a time where there isnt a long double line. Dont let that deter you because the lines move very efficiently. Also, their rewards program is awesome. Usually get enough points for a free drink if not every week, then every other week. Our order daily is Ocean Breeze with no ice & fill & Peach/Raspberry/White chocolate with cream mixed in & cold foam on top. We go to 7brew at least five to six times a week (mostly everyday at least once) & we get the same exact order everytime & have never had any issues. This location however told me that they have to charge $3.00 extra for no ice (they’ve never charged us extra). Then told me they are not able to mix the cream in per protocol, I asked “since when” & the lady said “since always”. Well that’s not true but then she proceeded to go mix the drink for us & messed it up even more. The girl is very rude & apparently these employees do not know the protocol or if that’s true then they’ve been breaking protocol for at least a year now. Absolutely terrible experience & will not go back to this location. First time was really good. Second time was not good. I was very disappointed. I was expecting so much because my first time was good. They got my order wrong. When I finally got my order, it tasted like water with a little cream and barely any sugar.....this was not at all what I ordered (which was the Blonde with an extra shot of caramel syrup and chocolate drizzle on the whip cream). What they made, tasted very disappointing. I could have just made a cup of instant coffee at home with a little sugar and got the same results. Maybe I should have just gone down the street to Starbucks. Should I go back????? Naaa, there are too many other good coffee shops around.
