Five Below — Local services in Tuscaloosa

Stopped by yesterday at 6pm and all of the employees were leaving the store, upon my 4.5 year old daughter approaching the door they locked it in her face and yelled at her, saying WERE CLOSED, DOORS LOCKED. We noticed there were flyers on the door so me and another customer who pulled up the same time were trying to read all 3 flyers and the employees were very rude and just kept screaming WERE CLOSED. Okay that’s fine, but when I’m trying to read why you’re closed don’t roll your eyes at me while you’re on your phone. You really didn’t have to say anything you could’ve just walked off and let us read the signs. Anyway, apparently they’re closed for “inventory”starting at 6pm. Doesn’t say when they’re opening back up. But every single employee was walking out. The ones that weren’t walking out were sitting at the registers on their cell phones. I’m not mad because they were closed, I’m mad because 1.they literally ran up and locked the door in my daughter’s face. She’s 4. And 2.because of the way they conducted themselves about...

The store was messy as expected this time of year, but it looks like there is not enough labor hours being used because there was no floor people to be seen. The customer service workers should be given enough help to accommodate the rush they will have right now. It would have been nice to be asked if I was finding everything ok, but between the self checkout and the limited staff that didn't happen. Merry Christmas. Oh and upper management... Remember the people in your stores are people too. While you're at home raking in the profits from their hard work they are on the front lines making you that money. A little more help would probably let them know they are...

It was pretty decent for the prices. I did like the variety of items. But, beware, a lot of the stuff here is sometimes cheap quality like Dollar Tree, so just know you are, in fact, getting what you pay for. But again, for the price, it's more than fair. So, I'm still giving it four stars. I I really like getting shoes here. This one pair of sandals I got here recently are just like the ones from Walmart, but only $5.55 instead of 20+ dollars. So far, they are still holding up. Five Below is definitely great if you have kids or want seasonal...
