I’ve had some good experiences with Dominos but this particular store on 14152 Newport Ave Tustin Ca 92780 is the worse store I’ve ever ordered from. Phone line cuts in and out constantly for the last 3 months. They don’t or won’t fix the phone line. You can’t always hear what they are saying.
I’ve place 3 or 4 orders from that store. Every time, I’ve asked for and paid for extra dipping sauce for the desert or pizza. I always ask for 3 or 4 and I always give the driver a 30% to 50% tip. On the last order they screwed up really badly, the driver got me extra sauce and didn’t charge me.....I think. I’m not sure if they charged me. They took 2 hours and around 10 min or up to 2 hours 30 mins to deliver the pizzas. They claim their stoves were broken so they fell behind. They told me between 1 hr and 30 mins and 1 hr and 45 mins to deliver. It was bad. When they delivered the food, I gave the driver between a 35% and a 60% tip. I can’t remember exactly what the amount was but it was way more than 20%. The desert was suppose to be cinnamon and sugar breadsticks but there was No cinnamon and no sugar. I paid for the order and accepted the order. Later, I called customer service and explained that they messed up on the desert. They gave me a five dollar credit off my next order. I placed or an order today on 02/14/2020 and I asked for the credit to be applied to this order. The wrap said he could not apply the five dollar credit because I did not order dessert today. I decided I no longer wanted to order so I canceled the two pizzas. I decided to take my business to a different pizza place. I was not happy with this store or the fact that Domino’s tends to keep the money they charge me for sauces that they do not deliver, the fact that it takes longer to deliver an order than they say over the phone and the fact their phone is broken and cuts in and out constantly every 2 to 3 mins. They can’t hear me and I can’t hear them. The phone has been broken for at least a month; however, I think it’s been longer than a month since I noticed it was broken and constantly cuts in and out.
I enjoy Dominos; however, I will never order from the Tustin location store ever again. I noticed I found a lot of complaints regarding that store.
Dominos advertises they are concerned with making a good impression with customers, but this particular store doesn’t seem to care. They often mess up orders and unless you call and complain, they don’t try or won’t try to fix the issue. Haven’t had too many problems with other stores. Just this particular store. Also, if dominos is going to charge people for extra sauce, which I honestly don’t have an issue with, the drivers need to remember to bring the extra sauces. Dominos is literally stealing from customers when you charge us for extra sauce and you don’t bring the sauce. On two separate occasions, I just let it go and let Domino's keep a total of $5 or $6 dollars. The third time I complained.
Dominos needs to look at that store location and reach their team on how to address the above issues or they will lose good customers like me who tip well, at 25% to 75% for pizza delivery and who order every few weeks and sometimes more...

A lady eventually parked next to me and she waited for a while too. Eventually she stopped a driver and explained to him her predicament - pretty much same as mine. He went inside, got his delivery items, picked up hers as well and handed it to her. How nice of the guy to help.
There was a long line of people waiting to place an order (i get it). I started to wait in line but soon learned I'd be waiting at least another 30 minutes before I spoke to anyone.
I saw the same driver that helped my parking space buddy and asked him for help. "Nothing i can do" he said. I told him I had a carside delivery and had been waiting for 30 minutes as instructed. "Nothing i can do, its very busy" "You have to wait in line!!" Someone else shouted at me from inside the restaurant.
I have to say here that I'm a black man. The woman who also had a carside pickup order and arrived AFTER me got nothing like the reaction I got.
Anyway
I saw a second driver and politely asked him for help. He asked me for the name on the order, went inside but nothing happened.
Eventually they opened a side door for everyone who placed online orders. I waited in THAT line and once my turn came up I gave the name on the order. The lady inside reached over to the table right next to the door, and handed me my daughter's Pizza that had been sitting there now for 45 minutes.
Had anyone cared to help this would not have happened. Have not felt this disrespected in quite some...
Read moreI am dissatisfied with the quality of food that was delivered to me yesterday. For starters, I ordered the 12CB Classic buffalo. Upon receiving my delivery and looking at the food, the food was completely burnt, the bottom of the box was covered in char and black and brown all on the bottom, the buffalo sauce was just sprinkled on top, the cheese was barely melted. it was totally unappealing and not edible. I did not eat it, I contacted the store and was immediately placed on hold for over 25+ mins, with no one periodically checking in on me. Once I finally got a hold of someone after waiting for 30+ mins we did not reach a resolution. I was advised that this was normal for the food to come out this way, because the cheese melts and causes the blackness. (what?!) and that basically only thing that would be offered was store credit. I refused credit because I refuse to ever return to this location due to lack of quality of food and the customer service. The manager refused to get on the phone to address my concerns, I basically felt like they were not willing to do anything to satisfy my concerns. Came off as very nonchalant. At the end of the call, I reached no resolution, I was told that I had to call corporate to complain and reach a resolution. I'm totally dissatisfied with the quality of food that this company is sending to customers and with the level of customer service at this location. this is completely unacceptable.
