The star of the show is the pozole verde. This pozole is so hearty and delicious. I have never had anybody pack avocado, and lettuce for my pozole order. They also give you 3/4 of a whole lime, radishes, cilantro, and onion. The restaurant is small and even though we’ve dined in before, this time we took it to go. The first time we dined in I got the chilaquiles and my husband got the menudo. He is very picky about his menudo so I didn’t know how his experience was going to go. He loved it so much that he already recommended it to his dad. The chilaquiles were crunchy and the egg was cooked to perfection where the yolk was runny and the edges were crispy. Don’t even get me started with the tortillas hecho a mano, my son ate both tortillas that came with our order. My husband ordered the camarones a la diabla (photo attached). I’m not trying to challenge you but my husband can definitely handle his spice so by the time when he was almost done, he was huffing and puffing but also scooping up the sauce with the tortilla chips because it was just too good to leave behind. They have a taco bar and we got 5 out of idk how many salsas they had. I loved the salsa de aguacate so much that I ordered an 8oz cup to go for the chips. This restaurant caters to so many palettes that there is something for everybody, even for those picky eaters. This will definitely be the only place I will ever buy my pozole verde for the rest of my existence.

I recently had a meal at The Habanero and overall, it was a decent experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming and had a nice, casual vibe that made it feel comfortable to sit and enjoy the food. The mole and pupusas were alright — nothing extraordinary, but definitely satisfying, especially for the price. Food came out relatively quickly, which was appreciated. However, there was a bit of disorganization with the service. Dishes were being brought to the wrong tables, parts of our order were forgotten until we reminded the staff several times, and basic items like napkins and utensils were oddly hard to come by. Despite the service hiccups, the overall experience wasn’t bad. The location is convenient, and for the price point, the food holds up. With a little more attention to organization and service, this place could really shine.

If you’re looking for delicious food with a traditional homemade flavor, Taquería y Mariscos El Habanero is the spot! Everything here tastes authentic and full of flavor, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. But what really stood out to me was the customer service. Our waitress, Joselyn, went above and beyond—when I accidentally left my phone behind, she kept it safe and even joked with me about it when I came back. That kind of honesty and genuine hospitality is something you rarely see anymore, and I truly take my hat off to her. Between the amazing food, handmade tortillas, and the kind of customer service that makes you feel at home, this is definitely a place worth checking out. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed finding this little spot it's a bit of a ways for me but it's worth it. The parking lot has plenty of parking and this place during the pandemic has had outdoor dining. They have delicious food very authentic. Homemade tortillas and mostly all of the food is like at home cooking. I have tried a variety like tacos, the fish, shrimp, carnitas & beef they are delicious homemade tortillas of course. I've also tried the pupusas with cheese and beans I love it and they give you like a coleslaw it's a pickled coleslaw which they use as their garnish for the pupusa. The shrimp cocktail is really good just a tad spicy for me but it's delicious. The Tortas which are Mexican sandwiches are really good. Just be patient when you do select your food if you're in a rush don't select something that they have to handmake because it takes a few minutes like the pupusa it is worth the wait but don't expect it right away because they do hand make it. They don't have a children's menu but I always get my son an order of french fries and a quesadilla just in case he will venture and try some of my food. I do have to say he loves the green salsa it's not spicy so it makes him feel like he is learning how to eat salsa LOL just...

I usually come here during lunch and everytime I go, we would get great service... Until today. I went to pick up my order during my lunch. I am already used to the long wait since the wait is worth it. The lady told me all my things were in the bag. I usually never double check since my orders are always correct. So I get back to work with everyone's order. I checked and the coctel de camaron had carne asada meat inside and they forgot my 2 chiles toreados. I called and I told the lady that they forgot the 2 chiles and that there was meat in the shrimp coctel. She ignored my coctel concern twice! When I asked her about the chiles, she said no, they were in there in a cylinder box. We all doubled check and there was only the box of a tostada de camaron. The lady kept insisting that yes they were in there and that she had made sure of that with an attitude voice. This was very frustrating because I went on my lunch hour and cannot go back to tell them in person. It sucks because I really enjoyed this place and would get my co-workers food from here, but now they had lost our service. There was a different lady at the register than the...
