Krispi Hot Chicken (Halal hand cut) — Restaurant in Tustin

I saw this place while on my way to my favorite burrito joint (more on that place later) 😋 Anyway I stopped by and ordered a two piece combo meal, comes with fries and a drink for about $14 bucks. The chicken is prepared to order, no pre-made food sitting around under a heat lamp, or microwaved before severed. Cooked to order and served piping hot, very fresh 😋 very tasty. Now the restaurant is called Krispi "Hot" Chicken and they live up to their name, you can have your fried chicken (chicken tenders and sandwiches too) mild or spicy and I do mean Spicy 😜 they have like 20 different levels of Spicy, I chose the medium hot level, and boy it was really really good, crispy, juicy and just the right amount of heat. The fries were very good also nice and crispy and a good amount for the order. I spoke with the owner, he said they've been in business for a year now, so that's a good sign that people like the food. Krispi Hot Chicken truly delivers on flavor and quality. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of spice to suit my taste. I appreciated that they offer various spice levels, making it easy for everyone to enjoy their meal, whether you prefer mild or crave a fiery kick.

Their menu is simple but well-curated, featuring options like sandwiches, tenders, and loaded fries. I ordered the chicken sandwich, among other things to try and it was incredible—flavorful, generously portioned, and served with a side of crispy fries that were seasoned to perfection.

The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality you’re getting. I also loved how clean and inviting the restaurant was, which is always a big plus.

If you’re a fan of hot chicken or just looking for a new spot to try in Tustin, Krispi Hot Chicken is a must-visit. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try more...

The crispiest, most tender, juicy, and flavorful chicken—hands down! We ordered the Krispi sandwich and a 10-piece jumbo wing combo, and when they say jumbo, they mean it. These were literally the biggest wings I’ve ever seen, and they were absolutely amazing—hot, fresh, and packed with flavor.

Their Mango Habanero sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, adding just the right kick without being overwhelming. The loaded fries were next-level—a perfect combination of crispy fries, coleslaw, crispy chicken pieces, and a delicious sauce that brought everything together in a symphony of flavors.

On top of that, I was so happy and impressed to see Salaam Cola and Lemonade on the menu! More Canadian restaurants need to carry these, especially with so many people choosing to boycott brands linked to genocide.
