UPDATE: Tried to go here again today, 4/22/23, and this time Sylvia threw a ranch sauce packet at me!!! Still have not heard anything back from ANYONE at the restaurant about the coffee problem. Now this? I've emailed and messaged them 3 times. No response. AVOID THIS LOCATION!!!
Used to go here a lot. Until 2 weeks ago (Friday, March 31). Placed my order at the drive-thru for decaffeinated coffee. Received regular coffee but didn't realize until I had driven too far away to go back. Caffeine could kill me (stroke), so this was not a little problem for me. Usually, I see the same people working, but there was a new person on this particular day. I had asked the server several times before she handed it to me to confirm it was decaffeinated. I told her caffeine could kill me, so I had to make sure it was decaffeinated. She said, "Yes, it's fresh," so I proceeded. As it turns out, the employee did not understand English well enough to understand what "decaffeinated" meant, so she gave me "fresh" regular caffeinated coffee. Apparently, she thought "decaffeinated" meant "fresh." Because I've gotten decaf coffee here hundreds of times, I didn't doubt her until I eventually checked the receipt when the coffee didn't taste right. Sure enough, she sold me caffeinated coffee. I had needed to wait for it to cool a little, so by the time I tasted it, I was many miles away. That's when I checked my receipt. This wouldn't necessarily be a huge deal, except I cannot have caffeine. Imagine if you were allergic to a food and she served it to you because she didn't understand English. Imagine if it could kill you? You could go into shock or have a stroke? Wouldn't you be upset? People are telling me I should learn to order in Spanish. Perhaps. Shouldn't restaurants also hire employees who can listen and understand me, so the burden doesn't fall on me to take the risk that they don't understand? Can't trust this location anymore. I did a survey as instructed on their receipt, and to date, I have not heard anything from them. They...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst Jack in the box! I had a coupon for a $20.00 family meal deal. They couldn't figure out how to enter the coupon. They couldn't even calculate what the amount should be with sales tax! I ended up paying full price and just asked for the coupon back. Being a location in Tustin where a majority of people speak English, they should have people who have a better understanding of the language. The best thing was the buns were hard. Considering that these people get paid $20.00 per hour, you would expect that they would be able to enter the coupon discount, or be able to enter a sale into the tegister for the proper amount, and be able to...
Read moreZero if I could. At about 7:00am almost every day there is a homeless White female there inside the dining area She insults everyone. I was eating, and she randomly started insulting me. I work in customer service so it didn’t bother me. Now people crazy like that can physically hurt someone when they are up in anger, so just to be safe I made a complaint about her to a former employee who was about to start her shift and she said that they couldn’t kick her out. It’s sad that customers or employees are allowed to take up things like this and allow people like that and do not do...
