I went to the Buffalo Café with a few family members and we had a great time. We arrived on a weekday just around 11 AM and the place was already packed. We got the only booth that was open, thankfully. The atmosphere seemed very upbeat with people just having a good time chowing down. My wife got the Buffalo Chip which consists of fried potatoes, bacon, cheese, green chilies, tomatoes, green onions, and a couple eggs on top, fried of course. It was amazing. There’s plenty of cheese all throughout the dish. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. I did not realize that it came with a biscuit or fried potatoes so when they told me that it came with a biscuit, I asked if they could put gravy on it. I unknowingly just ordered another entrée seemed, because when they came out with my chicken fried steak and eggs, they also came out with another platter that had just the biscuit and gravy on it. It was all very good. The chicken fried steak was authentic as it gets, definitely not frozen. If it is, I would be very surprised. The gravy was delicious, but could be a little warmer. My wife had a biscuit with homemade raspberry jam, which was absolutely delicious. My little man enjoyed a meal of fried potatoes, scrambled eggs with ham, and sourdough toast. He had a great time. Our waitress was excellent, very nice and attentive for the place being so full. We really enjoyed the Buffalo Café. I recommend the Buffalo Café.

I kept hearing about this Twin Falls institution. Had to see what the fuss was about. OMG, restaurant lives up to its reputation. As soon as you walk in, you see a world map with pins marking all the people who came here just to try Buffalo Cafe's home-spun diner food. The food is tasty, fully seasoned & belly-warming. Our server immediately put us at ease. Her kindness was genuine, she really wanted to get to know us. Our conversations were real too, nothing forced or polite or boring. She recommended the Buffalo Chip, full or half order, featuring eggs over a luscious bed of fried potatoes perfectly seasoned on a flattop, green chiles, tomatoes, cheese, bacon & sour cream. Order comes with toast, English muffin or biscuit. Go for the big fluffy biscuit with homemade strawberry jam. We left with extra orders of a breakfast burrito & chicken fried steak. Next time, I'm getting the smoked pork chops & eggs on special. And, there WILL be a next time. Always check out the specials early. Smoked pork chops & eggs. New Mexican eggs. Basque style chorizo & eggs...Truly special. The space is a true hole in the wall but you don't feel cramped. I felt instantly at home here. We're making this place our second home. Thanks for the welcome, Buffalo Cafe! Ps. I want to work here as a server. Hmu!

For some excellent local eats and a great atmosphere Buffalo Cafe is a must for anyone local or traveling through. The usual for me is the Buffalo Chips which will hit the spot any day. But on the weekends you can't miss some of the specials. Today was the smoked pork chop. Moist, packed with flavor in top of perfectly cooked potatoes and some eggs. And you can't forget the Blueberry Bran Muffin, add a little bit of butter and a cup of coffee. It's a paradise for sure. The kids love the hot chocolate piled high with whipped cream and the old western themed coloring pages. And the best part, you get to fill all the bellys in your family, without emptying your wallet. So don't over think it, go to Buffalo Cafe for breakfast, or swing in before they close at 2pm for a Pioneer Birger and fries. They won't disappoint. Just get there about 830 am to beat the crowd. And if you don't beat the crowd, it's worth the short wait!

A homemade American-Mexican fusion breakfast. Food is 4 stars, but few issues lowered the Overall score. Many of the food options are homemade in house including jam, muffins. This restaurant is slightly off the beaten path. And is in the industrial district. This restaurant has many of the typical standard breakfast items, but spice's things up with Mexican inspired dishes. If you are looking for something slightly different that has great taste and love Mexican food this is a great little home town option. That doesn't mean that every dish has a Mexican flavor, it's just of note because it's not your average cookie cutter breakfast restaurant. And that's a good thing. I personally had the Buffalo chips. According to the waitress it is their most popular dish. Food was better than most home style breakfast locations. But.. The waitress did seem a little overwhelmed and forgot a few items. She also left us waiting at the table for about 10 minutes while she processed the credit card and helped other tables. Nothing worse than finishing eating and then being held captive until they give you your credit card back. The restaurant could use a little bit of freshening up including the bathroom. It wasn't as clean as it could be. Those two issues lowered the score from...
