I'm not from Twin Falls, I went here and had to be scanned for metal items which is fine. I did have a pocket knife. I asked the door guy if there was a "check" or a holding place for said knife. He said to take it back to my car, I informed him we're traveling and took an Uber to the bar. He said I could place the knife in the mailbox which was next to where he was standing and pick up my knife when I leave. We stayed for approximately an hour and a 1/2 and I went to leave and looked inside the mailbox and my knife was gone. I asked the guys who were all standing there if they knew where it was at, of course no one there knew where it was at. The part that's frustrating is this mailbox is literally 6' away from where all the doorcheck guys are standing. When I went to get my knife there was about 4-5 of them standing 6' away from this mailbox where I had "checked' my knife in earlier. From what I seen from most of the night there was always at least 1 or 2 people standing close to the maul box who were employees. I feel as though the employees there probably took my knife because they would have noticed anyone else getting into that mailbox. My own fault for placing trust in them. Let's not forget the $5 cover for me being a guy just to get in the door. Another frustrating thing about this place was after 11 they increase the drink prices. It was a Friday night and this place was dead! I've heard other bad things about here but have never had an issue. Won't be returning...
Read moreA few things on this venue. We came for a jazz night, the music was great, the atmosphere is really great and I love the building. Unfortunately that is where it stops. We ordered drinks and those took a while to get and the waitress was confused on who ordered what. Then after 30 minutes she finally came back for our food order. Between the 2 parties we ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. Our friends never got their salad or their 2nd side even after the waitress acknowledged she was going to get it. We got our salad with the wrong dressing and then our meal. We got the coconut shrimp that was surprisingly good and we also ordered the Grilled Caprese Chicken Sandwich. After a few bites of chicken the center of it was completely raw, red, and still squishy. Then we had to ask to receive our 2nd side. Thankfully they comped the meal and took it back (I don't ever ask for food in return so we didn't end up with a meal, just the sides). I am not sure if the server was new or not but if she was that speaks to the lack of training or maybe this place really is just a bar that sometimes tries to serve food. The cook should get a thermometer because there is no way the chicken was anywhere near the correct temperature. In addition to all of the the server also got both...
Read moreThe only reason it gets a star is because the food is good if they get your order right. IF I’d the real doozy. The service is brutal. They had one waitress on Friday night. She was also the bartender and was running around nuts. She was nice but she forgot my kids mozzarella sticks and my salad. That wasn’t until after we had waited almost two hours for our food. I finally had to tell them we wanted it to go because my kids were DONE. They proceeded to take the food to the table not to go and my husband had to tell them to fix several things that were wrong with the order anyways. We watched 4 or 5 other groups leave before that because it was so slow. There was a group before us that still hadn’t got their food either. It was not busy. It was not crowded. And this was not the first time they have had such bad service for us. I don’t know if they don’t have anyone cooking in the back or what but it was horrendous. The other group was mad too. They had plans at seven at another place and still hadn’t got their food at 6:50pm when we left and they had arrived around 5pm. They couldn’t even get our order right after we decided to leave. It was so annoying. Not going back there again. No kids menu which is fine. We knew that. No changing table for...
