Burnt Lemon Grill — Restaurant in Twin Falls

Terrible food, even worse service. My husband and I wanted to have a nice lunch for the Fourth of July so we decided to try burnt lemon. One of THE WORST customer service interactions I have ever had. The girl acted annoyed that they even had to take our order, rolled her eyes when we asked for recommendations and not once did she smile or be even slightly friendly. When we said thank you to the other girl three times when she brought our beers she completely ignored us and wouldn't answer. When my husband asked them if they were just having a bad day or something or if it's always like this they replied that it was the fourth and they were at work so of course they are annoyed, and walked away from him. We were the only people in the entire place that had put in an order, but somehow the fries and tots were literally stone cold when they came out, and tasted like the oil had never been changed. Just disgusting. Wraps were dry, chicken over cooked, and lettuce wilted. I will never go back. I have worked in restaraunts since I was 16 years old and have never seen such blantanly horrible annoyance of the customer, like it was our fault they had to work....

The food is sub par. I was traveling and wanted to find a great burger so I drove off the freeway to this place and the food was only okay. McDonalds would have been just as good. I asked the cashier what I should try since I will only be eating here the one time and her answer was just leave now if your only eating her once. I explained I wasn’t from the area and she continued to be rude. I tried the burger she finally suggested without cheese and the burger came out totally different than what the menu said it came with. I would not waste my time or money ever again for subpar food and horrible service. The buddy I was traveling with could not believe how rude the cashier was, maybe she was the owner and took offense that I wasn’t going to come back, however she needs to learn some common courtesies. I hope for the employees sake this restaurant trains or fires the cashier. She is about 5’ tall and a little heavyset. When she handed me my food I asked for some fry sauce that I had paid for, after being rude and then going and getting the fry sauce she actually to a fry off my plate and ate it in front of me. UPDATE 7/2024 Went in and there was only the cook and the manager there. They were slightly busy and when I asked if they needed help (Help Wanted sign on the front door) The manager snapped and said no, She was rude and disrespectful when taking my order, took my name and dropped my change in my hand, slammed down a to-go cup, then she turned and gave the cook my order. No thank you, nothing. Me and another customer couldn't believe it. I would have left had I not already paid and I sure wasn't gonna try to get my $ back to go somewhere else. The cook has always been consistent with his food and my salad was delicious. (I watched the whole time to make sure she didn't do something to it.) I had been a semi-regular customer (1x3-4mo) for 3 or more years. Not anymore. Regardless of what comes your way, customer service should be #1 when you're running a business. You can't help but wonder if the reason they need help is due to the managers attitude.
