Took a roadtrip and In order to play music on our phone it had to be plugged into an aux cord and it was on 5% battery. We were hungry and wanted to get out of the vehicle for a bit so found this cute little place to grab a bite to eat and charge our phone. The food was absolutely delicious! The ahi tuna appetizer was fire! Followed by those tasty sliders! Elizabeth was our server and she was just so sweet and really felt happy to be there. We sat by the fire pit and drank a beer while waiting for our food to arrive. The only complaint I have is this one server named Jaimie. Maybe she was having a bad night idk but we arrived just after 8 and I could hear her telling everyone around us that it was Sunday the place closed at 9. We had stopped her to ask if there was an outlet that we could charge our phone on and she told us no. I then clarified with her…”you don’t have a power outlet anywhere in this building I can plug into?” She then affirmed “no” with a very unwelcoming vibe. She wasn’t even our server and this is the vibe she gave off…I get it’s Sunday and you are closing soon but you should never make your guests feel as if they are burdening you. We then asked our serve Elizebeth if there was a place we could plug our phone in at and she was more than happy to take it and charge it for us while we ate. Love the vibe here!

I came here with another, and we both got burgers. We got the captains choice burger, and the aloha burger. We got them cut in half so that we could both try the other burger. Aloha burger was easily my favorite. The patty is drizzled with teriyaki sauce, topped with cream cheese and grilled pineapple. This is a very saucy burger, but it was very flavorful. If you’re worried about your sodium intake, then maybe you should pass on this one. The captain’s choice burger was also very flavorful. It has Gouda cheese on it which was a nice touch. The garlic Parmesan fries are a must however, the batch we got was very overcooked to the point that the inside of the fries were hollow. The outside was very crunchy. The fries would just snap in two. That was unfortunate and didn’t make sense because we came right at opening so the fries should have been fresh and not older/over cooked. We also ordered the deep fried artichoke hearts. They were served with a pleasant lemon ranch style sauce. However, they’re a little harder to eat because they’re very fibrous and chewy. Biting one in half really doesn’t work. Overall I wouldn’t get them again. The inside of the restaurant is decorated well, and the service was good.

The very first time I'd ever been there, I ordered the beef nachos and when I got them, they had so much salt on them that they literally glittered. To describe this, it was like if someone was playing a practical joke on the chef and unscrewed the lid on the salt container. I couldn't eat it. The second time, the food had no seasoning at all. But the drink was good...the third time I got the fish tacos and we waited just over an hour before we got our food and the tacos were greasy, cold, bland. But my husband loves this place and so do his friends so I gave it another try, and this time we were with people. We were there for approximately 2 and a half hours, and we saw our waitress MAYBE 4 times, the first time when we were seated and got drinks, the second time because I attempted to flag her down (I didn't realize the drink I ordered had jalapeño in it) and wanted to exchange it and another friend of ours showed up and wanted a drink and she side glanced at us and kept walking so another in our group called out to her. At this point we'd been there close to 40 minutes and we were ready to put in our orders. She came by on her own about 30 minutes later to refill waters, and then to help drop off food. we flagged her down one other time for the check, and waited for close to another 30 before she collected our cards. I said I wouldn't go back but recently a friend said it was her favorite place to get drinks so I relented. Got the blood orange drink, which was supposed to have simple syrup, cranberry, blood orange vodka and carbonated water. It literally tasted like blood orange vodka and carbonated water -super strong and just bland. I hate that I've been disappointed everytime I come to this place, everyone else seems to have a good time but it's...

My wife and I went there Abt 3pm mainly because I wanted their chipotle mushrooms.(The only reason I returned after 2yrs). Just to be told that they were no longer on the menu. I (reluctantly) decided to stay. We ordered drinks and my wife ordered the Pina sour which all she could taste was lemon juice and sour. I ordered a Jim beam and coke. (Double). There were approximately 5 tables inside and 2 outside. I watched our waitress, Jamie try and tend tables and make drinks behind the bar EVEN though there were 6 people behind the bar just having a giggle session. My wife ordered the special which came with a soup. I had wings since the mushrooms were not an option. ( The reason I went in the first place). When we received the bill. My wife's Pina sour was $16 which had 1 ounces of alcohol in it. There was a charge for the soup which was supposed to be part of the special. When I asked our server (who was the only one doing her job) how many bartenders she had, she responded 1 but during the day the didn't have any. My waitress replied "I didn't know that when I was hired but I'm learning how to." When I had questions about my bill, the manager at the time wouldn't even come to my table. In total my meal was a $13 special, $9 wings and 3 drinks came out to $71. I had a bad experience 2yrs ago and gave anchor another chance. Well I will NEVER go back. In fact if the anchor closed I would even be upset. On a side note our waitress Jamie did everything she could to be professional and kind to us. As far as management, they could careless!!!! Went on 6/5/24...

It hurts my heart greatly to say this but the standards at Anchor seem to be dropping significantly lately. My husband and I have been customers here for almost 7 years and Anchor was always our favorite bar until recently. They have taken a lot of great things off of their menu like the sweet potato fries, beet salad, and their fish tacos used to be made with fresh fish and we just found out that they use frozen fish now.The menu was so good before and the changes just don't make sense. All of our beers have been warm and flat the last couple times we've been. The service has also dropped greatly. They just don't seem as organized and caring anymore. 9/20/24 Update: We came back to Anchor recently after waiting a couple months in hopes that the food would be good like it used to be and it's even worse now. One of the last things I still used to enjoy on their menu were the chicken tenders. For almost a decade they had the best, non greasy, super crispy chicken tenders anywhere and now they are literally oozing grease and are SO greasy that the breading on them turns into a paste after 5 minutes. On top of that, our garlic fries were the same story. They were covered in so much grease that they were just a congealed mushy pile of potato. Beers were room temperature. Wings are soggy and covered in way too much sauce. It breaks my heart that the food standards keep...
