Sassy's Bar and Grille — Restaurant in Twinsburg

I stopped in alone to grab a drink, food and to feel the vibes since I'm new to the area. It was around midnight so the kitchen was closed which is understandable. As a cognac connoisseur, I was extremely disappointed that Hennessy was all they had in that department for like 6 dollars or so per shot. To add insult to injury it was watered down significantly. After my one shot and only drink of the evening, I stepped outside for a cigarette with another patron and had a brief discussion, which is what bars are intended for, to the best of my knowledge. Anyway our conversation got interrupted by that patron's designated driver who stepped outside and regretted to inform us that we all had to leave per the owner's request at approximately 12:30. (2hours before they close) because of me( a well dressed polite young man whose only drink of the night was the blatantly watered down single shot of Hennessey. They said I looked like trouble and the police were called and pulled into the parking lot to make sure we depart. Unbelievable. Not sure if the name of this place is a gimmick and indicative of the service you’ll receive, but it sure seems that way!

Dined here on the first occasion 11/3/24, and was a bit turned off by our server when she greeted us. However, she warmed up a bit and we ended up having a nice time and good meal.

Fast forward 8 months and we visit again. Different server, same initial rudeness. I asked about the special for the day and was given the options, but was belittled a bit when I asked what the prices were. We were then asked what we were drinking and felt very rushed when putting it in. My wife and I looked at one another and were thinking the same thing. We agreed that the server was a bit rude and we could find a better establishment in the area that was a bit more welcoming. I told her nevermind about our drinks and we left. We were looking for a new place to go and found this online and was excited after reading their website. Their hours said they were open till 11pm which was great for our schedule that day. We called to place an order to go and they told us they no longer, serve an Italian sub that’s only for days that they have a special. We said fine, it wasn’t a problem. We ordered a hamburger to pick up. It was three dollars more than their website also found out , they closed an hour earlier than their website said for that particular day. And then on top of all these changes, they charged a fee for using a credit card. Didn’t even get a chance to taste the burger yet but decided so far I don’t believe we’ll be going back.
