Fatzo's Sub & Pizza Shop — Restaurant in Two Rivers

UPDATE: I posted a comment on their recent award and they deleted it and also blocked and banned me from their Facebook page. What some cowards. What a way to show ANY responsibility at all. I’ve talked to several people now who said the food went downhill recently. Gee, thanks. We’ll never be back as long as you guys are owners.

From someone who travels all the way from Oshkosh just to eat at our most favored sub shop for years, I am sad to say the food has changed recently. I ALWAYS get the same thing because it’s so good, or WAS so good. The hot beef and gravy used to have thick, darker, savory gravy and now, the last two times traveling here, the gravy is VERY light, watered down and tasteless. I watch a lot of food shows, cook myself and know when things change. If you water your gravy down just to get more “product,” you’re only fooling yourself as regular customers will eventually know the difference.

The last occasion, about a month ago, the woman last time was rude after I had expressed I asked for only butter on my ham sub. It came back with mayo and butter. I specifically asked butter only and she checked the slip as if I was fooling her. I advised that it was a guy who took my order and she said yeah, that would be my husband, all cocky. They remade the sub, didn’t apologize that she found out they were wrong. You run a business! It’s not hard to be friendly, even if you have to fake it and...

NOT SERVING PIZZA - despite their name (they informed me that they plan to do so at some time in the future when they get the equipment needed). The subs remain decent. Recommend getting pizza from Waverly (down the road) in the interim.

3020 review: The pizza is delicious! But they may be victims of their own success when it comes to service (they can get quite busy and overwhelmed with orders). I will likely return, but will never ever order ahead again (because none of the employees know me).

If you’re a regular and they know you, it’s great, but I f not, just show up and order at the counter. I ordered ahead and when I showed up, they sheepishly told me that other orders were bumped ahead of mine “even though they shouldn’t have been”. At least they ‘fessed up. 🙄

Yes, it messed up my schedule, but at least I got a good pizza (sadly, they didn’t even offer any kind of freebie...

I went to two rivers on a little camping trip. Went into town doing some sightseeing and decided I wanted to grab a quick bite from a popular place in town. I was kinda in the mood for pizza and came here. I decided against the pizza and got a sub instead. I got a pretty basic sub to satisfy my pizza craving. This was the pizza sub. I got it in the whole size and wasn't sure what to expect. It was absolutely massive. Not necessarily packed with food but there was a lot of length to it. Pizza subs are never really that filled with food anyways so it was ok. For the price I would definitely say it was worth it. That particular sub could use some spices in my opinion to add some more flavor. The service was great and the people in the kitchen were constantly interacting with the customers. It was an enjoyable experience for a quick bite. Don't expect something to crazy but definitely worth a stop even for...
