Guys. First we tried early in the morning to stop here and grab some coffee, The line was insane so taking that as a good sign we decided to come back later when the crowd had died down. A few hours later we came back, the line was still…insane. While my husband hunted us a parking space I decided to brave the line, all the while thinking to myself “this better be damn good coffee”. This trip to Tybee, a place we frequent a couple of times a year with our kids, had been a last minute spontaneous 24 hr trip for just the two of us. Needless to say, we weren’t keen on wasting any of our precious time…especially waiting in line for coffee. My husband ordered just a regular black house blend coffee and I ordered a Caramel Frappe. They called our name and we picked up our order. Moment of truth… Worth every second of that damn line, lol. This place knows coffee, my husband was more than happy with his coffee and I was instantly in love with my Frappe. I sipped down every last drop.
Whether when we come back next time and have 5 days or only 24 hrs, this special little treasure in Tybee will forever be on our must visit list. Brave the...
Read moreUnique little shop nestled at the entrance to Tybee Island. I got a Shot of Espresso and a Latte. This was my first experience with Batdorf & Bronson, a Washington State roaster, so I had the espresso to experience their intended coffee flavor profile and the Latte to experience how that profile blends with milk. I was very pleased with the creamy, sharp, and a tad citrusy espresso itself and equally pleased with how well it folded into the milk. Coffee is my business and I HIGHLY enjoyed theirs! The cashier and barista were very friendly! They offer free WiFi that can be accessed either at the inside bar sitting area or on their outside patio. Five stars became four due to electrical outlets in the sitting area not working and lack of latte art. I absolutely would recommend this awesome coffee shop to anyone local or visiting the Savannah &...
Read moreThis place has excellent coffee. I had a hot latte and my husband had a breakfast burrito with tots, eggs, bacon, cheese and hot sauce. Both were excellent. I also had a giant cinnamon crunch muffin but it was a bit dry so I only ate a bite. I’d love to try the blueberry one next time. Might want to use the stairs instead of the ramp on your way out, especially if it’s a rainy day. I hit a slick spot and absolutely wiped out, but thankfully I was only a little banged up and most importantly, I didn’t spill my latte! You might think your shoes are grippy enough after walking on the wet boardwalks out to the beach with no issues— but the ramp at Tybean is slick because it’s under trees and in the shade, overlooking plenty of outdoor seating including several adorable cafe tables. Excellent beachy vibes at this restaurant. Definitely...
