We asked for Korean food for lunch. She did not offer us a menus, but she suggested the beef soup. I mentioned that I had never had kimchi, so she put together a board for me with brown rice, radish kimchi, and multiple side dishes. An excellent experience. I called, spoke with Simeon and he asked me what type of dessert I was wanting. I decided on Key Lime Pie. The bakery was closed the day I called (my phone call was still returned), and I picked up my pie the next morning. He's gifted. The pie wasn't a quick and easy cold fridge pie, but a real, baked Key Lime Pie. The crust is incredible. We honestly visited this place because of the reviews and we love visiting "local" places. We are so HAPPY that we did! They are only open with reservation due to VERY LIMITED seating. Simon will bake you anything you want, even vegan pastries, if you call it in or will serve you whatever he has already made if you stay and visit with him.
