After a long day of work I stopped in to get chicken because cooking was not on my list to do. I placed an order for spicy chicken with the cashier who stated spicy is usually leftover around this time (approx 6pm) and I asked if it was possible I could get some cooked. She went to ask the cook and they talk for a few seconds for her to ask me what pieces did I want, I responded stood to the side to await my fresh chicken. 2 mins later she came giving me my chicken and I asked I thought I had to wait for the chicken she responded o he was pulling some up. I got the chicken didn’t actually open the box to check the chicken because from the temperature of the box I could tell it was from the grease. I got home to eat the chicken just to realize the chicken was old and that cook only took the leftover chicken and dropped in back in the grease to serve. Then to have the cashier to come lie to my face was something neither of them had to do! If I wanted leftovers I had plenty for free at home. Very...
Read moreHorrible Experience! Please do not come to this Church’s Texas Chicken located inside the gas station at 105 N NW Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75701. I placed a pickup order and when I arrived, they couldn’t find my order and had to “confirm the location.” After finally locating it, I was told they had only a few pieces of spicy chicken and that it would take about an hour to make more. When I asked how long the few pieces they already had were sitting out, the lady said she didn’t know and rudely replied that she’s “not the cook.”
The customer service was terrible rude and unhelpful. When they finally handed me the food, they said they “did the best they could with the chicken,” but when I opened the box, the chicken was drenched in grease as if they had just redipped it to make it look fresh. It was completely inedible, and even the mashed potatoes were awful.
Overall, this was a horrible experience and an absolute waste of money. I can’t stress it enough do...
Read moreSo this location is inside a gas station that I've been to multiple times, I had a hankering for some chicken and it was on my way so I stopped. I didn't expect the world from a quick stop to Churches but I have to say, I was impressed. Short wait in line and the manager took our order(didnt catch his name, heavy set guy, real nice guy) we ordered two $5 Real Big Deals(2 piece chicken or 3 tenders, 2 sides, a biscuit and a Jalapéno) and a drink. Total came out to $11 and some change. We waited about 7 minutes for our number to be called but the food was all fresh, so that contributes to the wait time along with them getting slammed with customers after we ordered. The lady in front of ordered To-Go so when her food came out before our the lady that took her order came from the back to open the door for her, I thought that was very nice. I believe her name is Debra, so...
