A one-star rating is not low enough. I'm not one to ever complain but I will tell you I ordered the number 2 which had one cheese enchilada and two tamales that were supposed to be pork. I think we all know what tamales look like and should taste like they're usually in some kind of corn Mesa wrap and filled with shredded pork or chicken or beef . My dinner arrived after a very very long wait and much to my shock lying on my plate was literally no exaggeration a three inch circle of brown mush 3 tablespoons of very Bland tasteless rice beans refried with no flavor at all and a tortilla of some sort that was very small with a child size portion of shredded cheese from a bag barely melted. The brown mush which was supposedly supposed to be tamales I picked it with my Fork because I was so shocked that they would even serve food that even looked like that much less the taste... it was disgusting so was that sort of cheese enchilada I just simply couldn't believe it neither could my husband that they would serve this and it was a child-size plate that they expected us to pay adult size plate price for .The salsa was extremely Bland no flavor no seasonings it took them forever and a day to get even tortillas to your table. Overall we did complain to the manager my husband did not even receive three of the items that were supposed to come with his meal on his plate was three to four pieces of very Bland grilled chicken on some sort of very chopped up small tortilla very Bland rice in the same beans and missing three items that came with his combo. The manager did come to our table and apologize I showed her my food which was very embarrassing she asked us our opinion of what they can do better and I'm like hire a new cook that knows how to prepare Mexican food will be really great. I really hated to complain but I told her how awful it was and showed it to her waiting on an explanation and she said that is our tamales with chili sauce over it it looked and tasted and smelled like cheap mashed up dog food or potted meat from a can. It was just horrible now my husband and I are going to be telling everyone how awful it was I hate to do that but I don't want anyone else to waste their money and drive home and sit on the sofa with upset stomachs LOL. Horrible experience all the way around other than having a wonderful time with my husband at my side. Our sweet little server was really good. We ended up snacking on some very Bland salsa and chips and leaving. Needless to say we will never darken the doors of that Mexican food establishment again we recommend that no one goes there. I don't even see how Mr manny who is part of the El Charro's family manages to keep that place open I know it's only three months old but there has been so many complaints and it doesn't take very long to correct the mistakes and obviously they haven't...

Visited here this past Sunday on 1/27 at around 5pm or so with myself and some family. Was seated quickly and got the chips and salsa pretty quickly. It took a little bit to get a server to get drinks though, but once he got our order for drinks they arrived quickly. While figuring out what to eat, he would check on us and make sure if we needed anything or not which was good. Order was taken and the food arrived pretty quickly and hot. However, the food is not something I would go out of my way to go eat honestly which is the main point here. I ordered the enchilada dinner and the only good thing on the plate was the verde sauce, the very chicken was bland in the enchiladas and the sour cream sauce I had on it was put under the broiler so long it started to curdle a little bit. But not to much of an issue. The rice I had was dry and the beans that were on the plate had a skin on the top from being placed under the broiler as well. The rest of my families food was about the same as far as taste and look. One member of my family got a dinner that came with a "house" salad, which when it came out, I thought was a joke at first. It was just shredded lettuce and some tomatoes and that was it.... seriously? Just lettuce and tomatoes? Not even good lettuce, just what would be found in a crunchy taco and it did not look good honestly.

I would have given a one star review, but the salsa is pretty good, so it gets an extra star for having good salsa and chips!

I may return and try something else someday, but I won't go out of my way to visit or go here for a special occasion. There are better...

What's going on Manny? I was happily surprised to see they were open on a Sunday. Well...I should have went elsewhere. We sat ourselves. The staff were confused over who was going to serve us. We ended up with a nice young lady who did pretty good. We ordered and she came back in a few minutes and said the cook messed up the gravy so I couldn't have chicken fried steak...I had to order something else. I then ordered Tony's tacos like my wife did. We both said to steam the tacos and not bathe them in oil like they usually do. There were only 3 tables in the restaurant occupied the whole time we were there. It took around 30 minutes for the waitress to come out with my wife's plate but told me the cook messed my tortillas up. Now the kitchen and her were arguing about it loud enough for us and everyone else to hear. She apologized. The kitchen staff several times I heard saying curse words in Spanish and yelling different stuff to each other. Finally got my food and it was good but looked thrown together sloppy. Not what I have became accustomed to from Mannys over the years. Then I handed my debit card and ticket to the waitress who says "oh, I have to go pee" and ran to the restroom with my card in hand 😮. Between the big price increases, and this kind of quality and service I'm sad to say we will not be going back. Been eating El Charro for decades, then Mannys after that. Seems like it's near the end of the road for them after reading some of these other reviews who experienced what we just did. Really hope you get this worked out Manny. For...

Where’s the meat??? And our waitress? Our first time to patronize Manny’s. Patio atmosphere was nice. Band was great! My husband and I ordered two drinks and an order of shrimp and beef fajitas with veggies. (Doing keto so no beans/rice) the veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned. What meat there was was tasty but MY GOODNESS, at 25.00 for this entree, you’d think they’d be more generous with the meat! Geeez! 5 measly and tiny quarter-sized shrimp and maybe 3? 4? strips of beef 1” x 3” at best…wow! The service was awful. Our waitress was apathetic, disinterested in serving. Our drink order (when she finally showed up) took a long time. Literally had to go find her to get some water for us. She eventually comes back with one water saying “I could only get one but I think my manager will be bringing the other”. Huh??? What? Having a water shortage? All out of cups? Do tell….manager never brought our second water… In a nutshell: Great atmosphere/music Waitress-indifferent, unfriendly, slow! Tasty food but SO stingy with the meat! Excluding tip (which I didn’t want to leave) our tab was 45.00, one entree two drinks…left hungry and frustrated! We won’t be coming back….

I was passing by and saw the sign.. Turned around and came back to Manny's. The Tex-Mex Grill. The restaurant is very clean and orderly. The seating is uncomfortable after 15 minutes. I was on the bench side and my wife in a chair. Padding on the seats would help. The complimentary chips and salsa were yummy. The sauce in the bottle(not sure) what It's called was great mixed in with the red salsa. I ordered the "Toro Plate" the taco shell was chewy and hard to bite & the meat was just a little on the spicy side. The taco shell is the real issue. The veggies were all fresh and crispy but my beef fajita taco served in a flour tortilla was gooey as it had layed in the juices from the taco & rice. I didn't care for the sauce on the beef enchilada (queso would be a better choice). The whole beans could use some seasoning-bland in flavor. Tyler my waiter was informative & courteous but could use some refinement in becoming a better waiter. He left the check on my table after I had only eaten one bite of my food. Had I been contemplating a dessert I felt reluctant to do so. If this review was helpful please "like".

The food was subpar. We went at lunch on a Monday and both ordered the 'mini quesadilla' with no rice; double refried beans. The beans were basically soup. We did upgrade to fajita steak meat on our quesadillas and that then made them $12.50. The 'mini quesadilla' was 1 tortilla that was about the size of a soft taco; I know it said mini; but for that and this small bowl of bean soup for 12.50 seemed a little over priced. The beans were pretty bland, tried adding salt and pepper and that didn't help. The salsa was spicy. We got a medium queso and added meat. The medium is the same size as the bowl of beans on my plate and she forgot the meat. When she took it back and brought it with meat there was WAY too much meat; more meat than cheese. Also; if you use a debit or credit card there is a 3.5% fee they add. (apologize for the not great still from a video that I can't post)
