We moved a few months ago from Nacogdoches, where we loved our local Pizza Hut, but we have been less than impressed with this particular location in comparison, as it always seems to take a while before someone helps you and just generally being less friendly than the place we were used to. Also, the prices are different in this town for some reason? (Our usual order costs a dollar more here.)
Today we went to pick up our order, after being told it would be a longer than usual wait. Therefore we waited around at home for a while so we could arrive at the time we'd been told. Upon arriving, the order board listed ours as ready, and I signed the receipt. AFTER signing, I was told it wasn't ready after all and would be 5 more minutes because they have an oven down. After 5 minutes, I checked again, and I was told it would be at least 10 more minutes but it was "hard to say" how long it would be.
I complained about the fact I had been misled about my order being ready and wished they had told me BEFORE I signed for payment. The "here's your receipt and oh by the way your order isn't actually ready" bait and switch baloney is something I found totally unacceptable and dishonest.
Because they refunded my money, I am giving three stars. Otherwise, it would be 1 or 2 for dishonest business practices. The equipment problems are unfortunate and forgivable, but the way they handled the situation left a lot...

According to the Pizza Hut employee Justin my order would be delivered in 40 minutes which was perfect timing. After not receiving my order at 1:37pm I called back to check the status.This time now speaking to Barbara who was the MOD at the time couldn't find the order and was very rude BOLDY calling me a liar because people call there all the time trying to get free food,gave me the wrong number to customer service and slammed the phone in my face! Justin who admitted to never putting my order in the system and I got treated as if I was in the wrong.Why spend your $ where you're not valued as a customer?The overall establishment is tacky with no training at all.No one tried to accommodate me regarding this matter until I was physically standing in the establishment while on the phone with the corporate office.They really need to upgrade their staff and offer the proper training to prevent all these NO STAR and 1 STAR ratings.I will NOT give this place my...
Read moreThis review is based on my first and only time ordering from this location. I placed my order in-person at the Pizza Hut on a Friday night. I walked in and waited for the people in front of me to finish placing their order. I was standing off to the side, and someone else entered and stood in line. When the next person was up to place their order, the person who had come in after me walked up to the register. Thankfully though, the cashier/order taker let him know that I was next in line. I really appreciated her doing that! I ordered one pizza and she told me it would be about 25 minutes. I will say that by the time I placed my order, about 4-5 people had showed up to place their order. The cashier was the only one I saw taking calls and taking orders their in the store. So keep that in mind if you're going to place your order by phone. I usually place my order online. As for my pizza, when I came to pick it up, the young lady who took my order offered to let me look at the pizza there in the store before I left to make sure it was right before I left.
