The or a couple who are behind the counter at the sporting goods shop that set up the guns and scopes are showing favertisum I could not believe how I seem one of the more senior employees really took his time to swap scopes that he didn't purchase from your company and he was really matriculate on the bore sighting and he knows what he was doing I do like to have mine done the same way!!and I know how it's done right because I have done the same job but I also am a archery teck and I treated every single bow and gun the same way!! I didn't even look to see whose equipment I was working on because it didn't matter to me whose the equivalent it was what mattered to me that I had it as perfect as possible and I did not cut any corners with anything unless they had a specific request and I did what they wanted like a trigger job or acurizing and I would explain to them that I was going to start after I was done with the rest and let them know that it was going to cost more because it was more delicate prosses but it would be right when I was done and if they something else done like floating the barrel it would take more time and money but they would not have any problems with that.t what I was getting at they had 2 ppl. Doing the job the main person I think was the main man in charge had 3 ppl. involved and they were nice guns but he didn't purchase the gun's from there or the night vision sope from y'all and I asked the gentleman about them he just had them changed from one to the other but the main reason I am bringing this to you is a gentleman bought a new gun and scope is he asked the same gentlemen to level and bore sight it he waited for 2hours very passionately and hoped that he would get the same service and then he put the scope on crooked and out of level did not bore sight it did not tighten the screws on it I could not believe how unprofeshanal he treated the man neverborsighted it the gentleman showed me and the crosshairs were 15 deg.off and acted like take it or that's will be the best I will do for you the gentleman had to buy another box of shells to sight it in and he was a fellow veteran and I asked the same gentlemen about the lanskey knife system for the bases for the kit and he told me to go to Amazon to get them your one of the few that carry the system and I make Damascus knives and I bought my base there along with the dumond kit and I bought all my friends one to along with making each one a Damascus knife but you only had one base there and I was hoping that you would have gotten in more bases but you have not I asked the same gentlemen about when you were going to get more and he told me to go to Amazon to buy them to properly sharpen one of my knives it takes about 1and a half hour to do it properly it is one of the best systems you can get that way you don't scratch or put a mark on it and the.edge lasts I know that you can cut up at least 4 pigs and 2 deer without dulling the blade and it will probably go another season with out having to sharpen it and I tell everyone that gets one of my knives to buy a lanskey diamond system than you for your time and I hope you get the favertisum taken care of or I guess that me and all my friends that belong to. I have a shirt that I have to Exchange because the neck stretch ot because Employees put the sensors on the dang collar! I had to return it because this store puts the sensors on the neck of the product and it stretches it out. Very stupid idea so I go to return it and I have all these problems because I couldnât find my receipt! That I had texted to my phone!a $30 shirt that I paid for with my Academy credit card!to I give my number to look up my account when Iâm purchasing something, but you canât return something by the same procedure-Silly! Really and over something your store did to merchandise that I paid for!! I send my receipts to texted so I was so embarrassed and very upset that they would not exchange the dang $30 Nike shirt for another! They would not give me a gift card! And then you take more than half off my Nike shirt that I paid regular price for,Academy wanted to give me $13 for my shirt that I paid full price for that I have to return because Academy silly idea to put sensors on the collar of product that stretches the neck out. Totally not my fault and have me holding up the line only.Not to mention wasting my time! I had my son with me luckily he was looking at basketballs and he was not up there getting embarrassed as well. I still ended up spending over $180 with a different card and the only reason I spent my money in there is because my 14 year old son had picked out a basketball and basketball shoes and I didnât want him to put it back because this wasnât his fault..And customer service sucks canât never find someone to help you!! They all just be walking around talking with each other they donât even greet you halfway.Iâm trying to Christmas shop and be Merry but I will say this is my worst experience ever!!this wow really ruined my night. Iâm glad it was my last stop. I will let everyone know how academy I does there member and I will be begging my husband to get rid of this Academy card. Hek the little 5% isnât worth it.I did buy my sons items and paid with another card . Pretty bad when you donât even want to use your credit card that you have for Academy This is no excuse like I said I will try my best to influence my husband to tear this academy card up!    Read moreWe wanted to purchase the ProForm ZT6 treadmill running in Academy's ad this week for $499. My wife went in on a Friday to purchase the unit, but since it would not fit in her car, she offered to pay for it in full at that time and return to pick it up. The store refused to allow her to purchase it at that time and pick it up the next day once she had a vehicle it could be loaded into. The next day I went to the store to purchase the treadmill with a vehicle large enough to load the treadmill into. I waited in the treadmill dept. for a few minutes then had to locate a salesperson myself. The salesperson promised to help me after assisting the customer he was helping. I waited at least ten minutes then found another sales person. I advised him I wanted to purchase the above treadmill and he said he would have to go to the backroom to check it being in stock. Ten minutes later he returned and said it was out of stock. When I asked for a rain check he stated he could not give a rain check for the sales price (sale ended that night). I returned home and called the manager who told me rain checks could not be provided. When I told the manager my wife came in and offered to pay for it a day earlier, he said they would not allow that either because the unit might be damaged while in the store's possession and I would be the owner. When I asked what would happen if I had paid for the treadmill that day and the store personnel damaged it while retrieving it and loading it in my vehicle? He offered no response to that question. He only stated this was corporate policy. He stated he only had 3 units, including the display, at the time of the ad breaking. He made no effort to rectify the problem, other than me purchasing the display that I had just seen children playing on in a "mistreating" way, but only offered an apology. Also, Academy's ad stated the regular price was $599 ($100 off) for this treadmill but the in-store display stated the treadmill was regularly $549. Not much in the way of customer service...
