Yesterday I was shocked, might I heard I'm a bit late on knowing I had a smoothie king close by, ( I've been going to the original location) now that I moved over here I decided to try this location, but, unfortunately it didn't go well. I order my smoothie online, which I have always for the past yr or so, I pulled through not really thinking and pulled up to the window, my order was about 2-3 mins early to being ready, I didn't think it would have been an issue.... It was. I told the young girl who I was and she with a an attitude said, uhh.....hold on, as she told her co workers I was there for my order I didn't see a issue but apparently to them it was, without knowing what I did wrong, which, technically I didn't see anything wrong, I apparently saw the true customer service, she gave me my "rushed" order, which I wasn't in any way in a hurry, and in a very fast manner mentioned, the next time go to the speaker and tell her your here ok thanks and slammed the window shut in my face before I could get a word out. When I read how to pick up my order it says go through the drive through not the speaker. Might I add no other place in Tyler mentioned this. And definitely wasn't rude. If this is policy, it needs to be specified. Or the workers need to be improved on their customer reactions. Proper way or commute should have been out.... I wasn't sure if you were aware of our pick up but, in the future if you would y mind going through to the speaker and informing us your here it would give us the proper time I. Making your smoothie. Because after this was all said and done, and I'm very unhappy to say this, my smoothie was awful, and tasted horrible. I mean I guess I could go back to making my own, at least I know I won't feel like I did a horrible thing and get a door slammed in my face. Maybe next time in the futr I'll go back, but...
Read moreSmoothie King on Old Jacksonville in Tyler is definitely blending up some goodness, but there’s a little room to turn this smoothie stop into a truly royal experience.
Walking in, the place has a clean and welcoming vibe, though the energy behind the counter could use a little extra boost—maybe a shot of espresso or some of that energizer blend. The service was friendly, but let’s just say they weren’t exactly breaking any speed records.
The smoothie itself? Nice and refreshing, with a good mix of flavors—though I was hoping for a bit more “wow” in the blend” rather than just “pretty good.” The texture was mostly smooth, but there were a few unexpected ice chunks, like little surprises I wasn’t quite looking for.
The prices are on the higher side, but hey, when you’re sipping on something that’s packed with fruit and protein, you kind of expect a premium pour.
Overall, Smoothie King is a solid pit stop for a tasty and nutritious drink, but with a little more consistency and a touch more energy, it could truly...
Read moreThe Old Jacksonville location is located less than a mile from my office, so it convenient to get breakfast or lunch on my way to the office. I have ordered from this Smoothie King many times in the last two years, usually once or twice a week. Trust and loyalty has been established because I have never had any complaints or issues with the quality, speed, ease of ordering and reciving my smoothie, or the friendliness of the employees. Also, I have seen the owner of this location in the store many times and he always asks if there is anything they can improve on, so I know he cares and it is definitely apparent in the way they operate. They have truly gained a customer for life for their consistency in always offering a high level of service and product. 10/10 would...
