Subway — Restaurant in Tyler

I hadn't had a Subway in awhile because they've gotten so expensive. Tonight's experience will probably make it the last time. When I drove by the front of the shop thought maybe they were about to close since chairs were already turned up on the tables even though it was just before 7:30 p.m. (later noticed they are suppose to be open until 10). Saw no one standing inside and there were no cars parked out front so they sure were not busy. Pulled up to order had to wait several minutes before being asked for order. Came very close to just driving off several times because of the long pauses in the process of trying to order. Never experienced anything like it before. Had to repeat order twice with several long pauses waiting on employee to respond. Since order had to be repeated twice and employee did finally repeat order back you'd think the order would have ended up correct. There were items put on the two sandwiches ordered that were never even mentioned and other items that were left off. The amount of meat put on the sandwiches was a joke. Wish I had chosen one of the other places on Old Jacksonville Hwy to get a meal would have gotten much more than just two wrongly made sandwiches and for...

I placed my curbside order for a 6" and diet coke at about 10:50, it said it would be ready at 11:15. I've ordered from this location many times with no issues, everything is always accurate and the girl knows me by the car I drive and is always super friendly. Today when I arrived a man came out and didn't say anything just handed me the bag and started walking back inside. I got his attention and asked him what about the diet coke I paid for. He rudely turned around and said well looks like you'll have to come inside and get that. I've never been told that before and secondly if I wanted to go inside for a coke I'd just go ahead and pickup my sandwich at the same time. That defeats the purpose of curbside. This man needs to be retrained. I did not go back inside to get my drink even though I paid for it because of how rudely I had been treated. I will be thinking twice before visiting again unless something is done, I could just as easily go to the whichwich that's a half a mile...

I remember this day, what actually happened is a little far from the truth. I run uber orders from here a lot, and I was here to experience this moment. These employees will make your food exactly the way you want while making you feel right at home.

This lady was really just expressing her "ignorance". On this day, they had a line nearly backed up to the door, and they were working as fast as they could to pass the line with quality of service. This "Alisha" lady was actually pretty impatient, and just expected them to STOP what they were doing for customers in front of them, and go outside side to pacify her. She knew they had a massive line of customers and couldnt be bothered to come in sooner to check. In a situation like this, they did EXACTLY what they were suppose to do. Who even orders curbside when there is a drive-through?? How lazy can you actually be "Alisha". Curbside is for customers who are scard of covid, if you went inside, you were abusing...
