I am going to preface this review saying that I am already disappointed with the customer service I received from Flore Cafe despite having not even been to the restaurant itself yet.
My family and I had a set reservation for 2:45PM today, a reservation which I had made several days ago. We were really excited to go to this place, it had been on our local food bucket list for a while now. We were already in the car and driving to the place when I noticed I was receiving a call from Sisters Thai (this was at 2:34PM, I double checked my phone's call history to make sure this time was accurate). I answered the phone and the lady whom I spoke with on the phone told me that they had to close the restaurant at 3PM for a private event. I expressed my disdain and disappointment and said they should have let me know earlier if they had previously known about this event since we were already driving to the restaurant and had made our reservation days ago. I don't think the lady whom I spoke with quite understood because she kept asking 'Can you get here sooner?' to which I said 'Well what's the point? If you're closing the restaurant at 3PM anyways, that's in less than half an hour from now. Do you expect us to be seated, order, wait for our food, eat, and pay in that short timeframe before 3PM? We are also currently driving to the restaurant to make it on time for our 2:45PM reservation, so we cannot get there sooner even if we wanted to.' She didn't seem to understand and told me she would go speak to a manager. Once she was back on the phone with me, she relayed to me that it turned out the private event was at 5PM but they still had to close the restaurant regardless at 3PM to prepare for the event. I told her that did not seem to make a difference and to please cancel our reservation. Again, she asked if we could get there sooner to which I reiterated my previous response to her. I then promptly asked her to cancel the reservation and let her know I was extremely disappointed with this last minute nonsense. I would have been more understanding and appreciative if the restaurant let me know earlier in the day that our reservation time could not be accommodated due to the party...
Read moreI saw this place on Instagram and I thought this place look Aesthetically pleasing.
I noticed that on google, there wasn’t a phone number available, so I tried to go on the website only to find that it’s not running. No biggie.
So I went on their Instagram and I tried to call them a few times and the phone won’t go through. Again no biggie. I was able to get in contact with them through Instagram DM. I told them I wanted to make a reservation. They specifically told me I can make the reservation through Instagram DM and confirmed it.
However, when I showed up, they asked if I made the reservation and I told them I did through ig dm. They told me I needed to make the reservation else where which left me a little confused because they did say it was fine. Also, the restaurant wasn’t even packed when we arrived.
I felt like I was not greeted properly. And that they were not attentive to me nor my sisters in law. We only ordered 2 desserts and 3 drinks and we felt like we waited too long for the drinks. Almost as if they have forgotten it. We stayed there longer than we needed to. The quality of the desserts was okay, but the drinks however were really nice.
Also I noticed that our waitress didn’t have a pen & paper to record our order, I think that could have been the reason why they almost forgot our drinks.

Read moreMade reservation through Instagram for 6, Jan 12 at 6 pm. specifically for the cafe. The only positive experience was the host up front even when we had 1 person extra joining.
Food is ok but overpriced for what it is.
Our group was seated upstairs, even though I had reserved space for the cafe.
The woman server that was working upstairs was so rude.
Bad communication, we were having hard time understanding and she seemed to be offended because we had to ask her to repeat multiple times. After that the service went downhill.
Starting when she was handing our drinks where she yelled of the name of the drinks for each of us.
There were only 1 server working upstairs, the service was so bad. We ordered lots of food from the cafe & their specialty drinks.
Since it’s the cafe, we assumed that we can take our time & would order more as we go while enjoying our time.
Even when she wasn’t hospitable towards our table, we brushed it off maybe because she was busy but her demeanor only got worse.
After the first order of food mind you we ordered 6 plates, not even 40 mins later the server came & cleared our plates, asked us if we want anything else, we said not right now but we will in a minute.
She came back with our receipt even though most of us aren’t done & still have our drinks full.
I’ve never experienced this kind of rudeness ever. DO BETTER!
