This is yet another amazing natural wonder our nation has to offer! Take three hours or more to drive this gorgeous National Park! During your drive, the scenic road takes you through trees you have never seen before as each curve allows you to behold larger trees than those see on the previous curve. Pull offs and signs direct you to sites that allow your eyes (and camera) to be filled with awe as you take in the beauty and magnificence of these great Sequoias! The Sequoia National Park also has many educational opportunities, not only at the Visitor's centers but at the various stops along the way, where Park Rangers are eager to speak on the Sequoia lifespan while lovingly sharing their knowledge of the Park and these mighty trees. "General Sherman" is a stop worth making. The .4 mile walkway from the parking lot is worth the hike to be in the presence of this great behemoth. The same winding .4 mile trek back up the hill to the parking lot can cause you to appreciate nature or wish you were in better shape depending how quickly you choose to make the assent. hahahaha! So many more sights in the Park including the lake, camping options and more! So be sure to grab a map and look it over so you don't miss a thing! The Sequoia National...
Read moreThe scale for judging a McDonald's is not the same as the scale for judging every other restaurant. McDonald's always seem to waiver between 1 star and two stars. Or the sleeper location with 2.5 stars. Sometimes on the rare occasion they get 3 stars and that's only if they're serving the McRib and they're doing it with pleasure and delight. Also, sometimes you can go to McDonald's where you get the cheeseburger, and it was made with so much affection, and it looks exactly like it does on the commercial. Those times I feel like man, this is what's going on. These people know what to do, and they're doing it right. Other times you know the food tastes almost the same. Let's see... some places they might put too much ketchup or not enough. Or perhaps they only put one tiny pickle on there, which is not enough. Or they put too many of those reconstituted onions. So they could vary a little bit. I would say at this particular one it is fair but it's not the one that I would say is the best. So maybe stick to the ice cream. Or the McRib which might be...
Read moreMcDonalds food has went way down in quality over the last couple years. I am guilty of getting McDonalds for my kids a few times a week. But I have noticed that the food is just not very good The fries use to be the best around but seems like these days they are just nasty. They looks and taste like they are stale fries they dipped back into the grease to try and freshen them up. Bad idea. They have no flavor any more just taste like cardboard. The prices have gone up a bit considering the food quality has gone down. Just not worth the money or time. I know it’s fast food but the person that’s answering the drive through most of the time doesn’t let you Finnish talking before they are interrupting you asking if that’s all. Impatient and rude. I just want to tell her to just please be quiet and let me talk. Stop talking over me is it that hard really? It drives me nuts. The drinks tho they are little less over a dollar for any size all day. Their cokes are the best in town for a fast...
