I came here often because it was the closest store to my home. This was the third time I had an unpleasant experience, so I came up to comment on it because it really made me feel ridiculous. The staff didn't familiar with the menu. And she was like she couldn’t hear me and I need to repeat again and again. Finally, I looked at the menu and found a mistake and pointed it out to correct it. And another clerk who helped her said that “you said that”. Omg, was it my mistake? I need to say sorry to you guys that I said wrong.
Actually, I wanted less ice, I always said less ice at all milk tea stores. So I said less ice at the first time. She feel like she cannot hear about me. Ok, asked me again, 75% ice? I said 35%. I even don’t care the exactly number. 30% 25% or 35%. Then I just wanted to double check my order on the menu. finally, the order showed 75%. The screen is used to allow customers to check their orders, Right? So what’s wrong with me?
I don’t think that was hard to change. I even haven’t paid it. You guys even haven’t made it. Why was that guy so mean? It made me feel like I was bullying her. Even if the customers change mind, usually the store is willing to redo it. But i just want to correct my order!!!
I never comment restaurants online because I think it's a waste of time. But I really didn't enjoy the whole evening after I ordered...
Read moreI don't know where to start. Their in-store menu display and the menu at the ordering machine are different. We left our line to order from the machine and couldn't find the order we wanted. We didn't wanna get back in line so we had to order something different. Our number was 304. We waited for 30 mins. The first time they called our number, turns out there was another group whose number was 304. Ok, we waited another 10 mins. They called 304 again, and handed me a waffle. Another group came up and said "I'm pretty sure that's ours.." guess what, THEY'RE ALSO #304. I touched the waffle wrap but they took it back, and gave it to the other group. Then they finally called #304. They said they ran out of orange syrup, so we had to change our order again. They finally handed us our orders, but since they gave the waffle to the other group, they took a spare waffle that was just lying there. It was soggy, dead cold, and definitely NOT the dessert we were waiting for. We went home. We reheated the waffles. We drank our drinks and they totally messed up the ice and sugar config, we couldn't even drink it without diluting it.

Happy Lemon service & ambiance: Yellow color scheme (of course) with mobile chairs makes for plenty of seating room if staying in. The staff was friendly and they were extremely efficient and quick with getting our 5 drinks order out to us. The flat screen displays the drink orders currently in production and gives real time updates of when the drinks will be finished. I'm a huge fan of real time metrics and I love this service at Happy Lemon.
Happy Lemon dessert beverages: I'm a cheese lover so the Salted Cheese Milk Tea (A8) was my choice. Perfect amount of sweetness and the salted cheese flavor enhanced the drink and wasn't over the top. I tried the Mango Lemon Slushy and that was delicious and refreshing. The strawberry black tea was an interesting flavor but definitely works.
This was my first Happy Lemon experience and the next drink on the list is Yakult Green Tea. I love both flavors and Happy Lemon seems to have their formula down with mashing up flavors for Dessert Drinks and...
