0 star. AVOID THIS SUPERMARKET!!!

I’ve had consistently poor experiences with this supermarket, particularly with the quality of their produce. On multiple occasions, I’ve encountered issues like apples that appeared fine on the outside but had moldy cores. It seems their fruits and vegetables are stored in freezers for too long, leading to spoilage that’s hidden until you cut into them. Because of these recurring problems, I stopped shopping there years ago. Unfortunately, my in-law recently fell into the same trap. She purchased 4 bags of greens, only to find that 80% of it was unusable and had to be thrown into the compost bin. Similarly, a box of mangoes looked perfectly fine on the outside, but after waiting a few days for them to ripen, we discovered they were dark and purple inside—completely inedible.

When I went to the store to request a refund, the manager was incredibly rude and informed me that produce must be returned within two days. It’s clear this policy exists because they’re fully aware their products aren’t fresh. In contrast, other stores like Ranch 99 and 168 handle similar issues professionally, often offering apologies and resolutions without hesitation. This place has EVERYTHING. They have tbings that i don't even know what it is. They have the FRESHEST meats and seafood in the area and even live fish and lobster and crab tanks. The produce department is vast and has every banana known to man kind. The staff are courteous and helpful. This place is worth a visit even if you don't need anything. Its fun just to look at the unique foods. Connected to the store is an authentic Chinese restaurant. The food is displayed and you pick what you like. If you spend over a certain amount in the store they give you coupons for 2-3 dollars off a meal at the restaurant . its reasonable to begin with and extremely high quality. I went the Union City store and received by SHOO FAR at 2.43pm June 25 (printed on my receipt) . While checking out, I asked where can I find one particular item and she responded something in a very low volume which I couldn't understand a single word. Then I asked again, she replied some words which doesn't means anything to me. Then I was trying to let her repeat , then she kept silence and simply ignored me.....

I visited the store frequently and generally it's fine ,but this time I was so surprised and felt a little bit upset . Not because I couldn't get what I am looking for , also it basically puts me in bad mood and ruins my day.
