Bad policies, they don't care about long-term customers, they refuse to give full service to customers, and they don't care about the environment.
As per their policy, they will not pack groceries in reusable bags!! Reusable bags are good for the environment but if you take them to this Bharat Bazar, they will not give you the full service of packing groceries. They will only pack it if you buy their disposable bags.
I have been their customer for 12 years, I have politely tried to explain to them that people mainly avoid buying store bags for the environment, to reduce trash in the world and not to save that 10 cents! The customers who bring their bags should get the same service you provide to the ones who buy the bag for 10 cents. Even after trying multiple times, they fail to understand and I still do not see any change.
They give a lot of new excuses not to pack/work.
Until last year they said they won't pack it because of COVID-19.
Then they said we don't pack groceries in customers' reusable bags because they are DIRTY!! If this is what the business thinks about the customers then they are not right for this market, where customers are treated with much more respect at other places.
They say we don't pack groceries because no other grocery store packs groceries in reusable bags.
All Indian stores and all the stores around Union City Bharat Bazar pack the groceries. The staff gives the example of Food Max, that they don't pack the grocery bag. Food Max has a different checkout process with longer belts, they never packaged groceries but this Bharat Bazar used to pack them in reusalbe bags before the pandemic now they throw new excuses every day.
The bottom line is that they don't care about providing full service to customers and especially refuse it to the customers who bring their bags to help with the environment. Or they want to make money with 10 cents for a new bag, which is too tiny to make sense.
Due to this attitude, I have decided to stop going there and will do my best to share the word in my community so we all choose to support good stores and businesses...
Read moreOne of the worst customer service you can think off. I accidently touched a snack which fell down and it opened. They asked me to pay for it. Wait, first they came running, shouted so that the whole world can hear and then asked me to pay for it.
Fine, I was ready to pay for that stinking snacks which are overly priced. But the thing is I paid I should get that snack right? That sweet talking woman keeps the snack down shamelessly near the counter and doesn't even bother to give it to me even after I pay the full amount.
Till today I have spent more than 1000 dollars on that shop towards various groceries. Thousands of Indians shop and pay double the price and this is their attitude towards their customers.
I will never ever visit that stinking shop ever. And to hell with u sweet talking lady.
Paisa sab kuch nahi...
Read moreRude customer service .. makes me not go to this store again. It’s Friday night I was pulling into the store at 9:15 , the amigo cart gangster is visibly upset that I am trying to go into shop at the last hour . The two rude ladies at the counter were having a fight with every customer that came in at the time saying that the store was closed and clearly all of them had 15 mins to go. The amigo switched off the light at 9:15 when I was trying to get some veggies .. the whole encounter of all the customers at the store on a Friday night makes me never come back .. I don’t know if it’s the management that gives them such poor instructions to handle customers … anyways you are destined to loose customers in the long run .....
