Dockside Donuts — Restaurant in Union Township

Staff was VERY friendly and fantastic to deal with. I bought a dozen of their GALLEY donuts and an iced coffee. The food was good and so was the coffee. My biggest complaint was the price. it was $28 for a dozen of the GALLEY donuts which on paper, looks like they would be either quite large or extremely fancy. They were neither. While being good donuts, they were not overly large, in comparison to say the fancy donuts from Donut World in Lancaster, and they were simply dipped in icing on the top. Ordered a pumpkin chai and a breakfast sandwich. Asked for light ice in the chai and for my English Muffin to be toasted. Received a drink that was mostly syrup, not well mixed and did not have light ice. Drink was overly sweet. English Muffin was not toasted and not sure what type of egg product they're using for the egg on their breakfast sandwich, but it tasted weird. Great donuts and fun people inside. Got the key lime and turtle, and wanted a third so I asked the woman running the place (probably the owner) what her favorite was. She recommended the long Johns, but said there weren’t any left “because I just ate the last one!” Another customer who seemed to be a regular suggested the “messy bun” with maple drizzle and I’m happy I got that too.
