Buckeye Lake Brewery has grown by leaps and bounds in the past few years. People come from all over Central Ohio to sample the brews at Buckeye Lake. Eclectic atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a great cheese & meat board to pair with your brew. They also offer a few good bourbons, and a special cocktail! I had the cocktail with the salted caramel vodka, apple cider, and riesling. A nice fall treat! Great patio with food trucks through out the season. This brewery isn’t too bad. It can be quite busy and noisy inside. The tables and floors felt sticky, and a few parts of the walls were noticeably dinged up. The beer was good, but (in my opinion) didn’t stand out as much as the beers of other local breweries. I say this because I’ve been to hundreds of breweries over the years - all over Ohio and all over the U.S. including CA, AZ, NM, CO, UT, WY, NE, LA, MS, FL, DE. Been there once and will never be back. The service wasn’t great. Had to go inside (we were sitting outside) to place our order twice. They were mean and rude when we did go in to place our orders for our beers. And they didn’t even apologize. Now for the food side the service was good even though I would prefer that someone brings our food to us instead of going to get it. The beer was ok nothing exciting.
