Hopped off the highway in search of some caffeinated inspiration to keep driving. The coffee shack was a good choice, a little farther off the highway than I prefer, but I choose a local coffee shop over a mass chain any day. Visited North Shore Coffee Company located at Buckeye Lake on 2020/10/18 to get coffee for my wife and I. Even after telling the cashier my wife was hearing impaired, she still insisted we wore masks and refused service. Under the COVID guidelines for Ohio, because my wife is hearing impaired and I'm accompanying her. She nor I are are required by law to wear a mask. The positive out of this is that we found another coffee shop that respects the hearing impaired and offer much better coffee and pastries.
