Burger King — Restaurant in Union

I typically do not give 5 star ratings simply because as with every other thing in life, there is always room for improvement. Having said that this is not just a 4 star, it is at least a 4.5 star rating. I went to the restaurant after church to grab lunch to take home to the family because I was feeling lazy and didn't want to cook. When I walked up to the counter with my coupon for a family bundle, the lady at the cash register kind of smiled nervously and said "oh they are gonna love this" she then nervously laughed and stated that they were very short staffed but would get it out as soon as they could. I told her not to worry at all, I was fine and in no hurry. Let me just say, every single one of these workers were putting forth 100% effort to not only take care of the folks inside but also the packed drive through AND on top of all that the dining room was clean.....great job BK Union crew, you guys were rocking it and with all of that still smiling and being just overall fantastic. Every single time I come here I sit in the drive through lane while the other lane just has cars rolling through. I always get the unlucky lane as I call it. What is the point of having a double drive through if you can’t manage how to use it correctly and go back and forth? Doesn’t make sense to me. It’s also super aggravating that every time I come their menu magically changes and they no longer “offer” an item that is STILL advertised on their menu and flashes bright where my children can see it. If you choose to no longer offer an item, then don’t advertise it. Otherwise if it’s advertised and you have the products to make it.... sell it as advertised. False advertising is the absolute worst with this Burger King location. I will be choosing to drive to the villa ridge or St. Clair location from now on after tonight. We decided to try Burger King. Their commercials look really good on TV. Rather than go when we decided to try to drive through. They have two drive-thrus we went to the one that looks like it was open. Apparently they're both functioning. We got behind somebody who is very slow at ordering so we thought. Turns out that it was the order taker who wasn't very good at processing what was being said. I ordered two french toast sandwiches and ended up with French toast sticks. This was a disappointment. The food was good, service was mediocre, and the order taker was very poor. Might be a while before I go back. As a rule I like Burger King very much for their burgers and fries. However, the breakfast menu and service leaves a lot to be desired. I have had excellent service there late at night already. So I will be back, just not...
