Exit 11 Coffee Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Union

Our experience here started out like a bad “2 blondes in a van joke.” This was our first time trying exit 11 and we were excited, but that was quickly overshadowed by the lack of intelligence and common sense displayed by the baristas. I looked at the menu and was excited to try a frappe with cold foam but instead I was told that there was no button for the cold foam which is definitely listed as an option for the excessive price of a $1.30 something. If I wanted to get reamed on price I could have drank Starbucks but here we were ready to try getting reamed by the “new guy” unfortunately they wouldn’t let us, sense they apparently had no button to charge us, they decided they couldn’t and wouldn’t make their hands work long enough to put cold foam on top our drinks in place of the whipped cream. This is where the common sense would have helped but since hiring competent and intelligent employees are out of the question my suggestion in conclusion would be to make sure you get that “cold foam” button added. Update: Owner had reached out and offered a refund. After talking to her it appears that it may not have been prepared correctly so I will try one again to give a more accurate review.

One of my favorite coffee places! Only down side to the union location is that it closes so early! I’m surprised since it’s right next to the college! As a college student myself - I feel like I speak for most of us when I say “we need coffee literally all the time to function” and with them closing at 12:30 it’s kinda inconvenient. That’s before some classes start, or right when other classes are getting out- and students need the quick pick me up. I think this location would strive better if the hours were changed. Washington has 2 trailers that stay open longer than this one, and they are only like 5 miles...
