I've come to expect poor service and messed up orders at McDonald's and this location lived down to my expectation.
We started ordering on a kiosk and mid order it said the kiosk wasn't available. We went to the counter and a nice kid helped us. He had trouble with the terminal and asked an assistant manager for help. The old sour puss came over and mumbled something to him and hit a button then walked off. We completed the order and it seemed high but the kid couldn't generate a receipt. He said they were working on the system and couldn't take anymore orders and that's why he couldn't get a receipt. People standing around waiting on orders, waiting to order and no one communicating with customers except the 15 year old counter guy. He should probably running the place because the managers were running around in the kitchen like they were doing a Chinese fire drill. The wait for the food was extra long. I went to the counter for a water cup and the sour puss assistant manager ignored me so I went behind the counter and got it myself.
When we finally got our order, the hamburger buns were dry/stale. I asked for the cheese to be on the side, not on my burger. Despite my request I had 2 slices of cheese on my burger. At least the fries were good for a change.
Finally got a receipt. The item prices recorded there differed with the menu board price by 80 cents on each quarter pounder. It wasn't worth a buck sixty to call up an AM and risk getting sour puss which would have led to an altercation.
Because every visit turns like this one I only eat at McDonald's when there's no other alternative. When I do eat at any store in the chain I just go in knowing it is going to be disappointing.
I don't recommend this location or any McDonald's restaurant. Hamburgers, fries and service are McDonald's cardinal selling points and they just can't...
Read moreMcDonald’s is going down hill fast!! So last night the family and I decided to have McDonald’s for dinner. Five people in the car. I ordered a kids chicken nuggets meal with a Dr Pepper, 3 double cheeseburgers, cheese burger and a spicy chicken sandwich, two large fries. When I got to the first window I ask can I add 10 sweet and sour sauce. The lady giggled and said they may not give me that many but she will see. So I pulled up to the second window. She handed me the soda and I then asked for 10 sweet and sour. She goes into saying she can’t give me that many. She can give me five. I told her I was willing to pay for them so why can’t I have ten. She says because I only have four nuggets. I was like so they are not for nuggets!!! but for my fries!! She went with attitude saying I’m arguing about this. The Manager came to the window and was arguing with me. She goes into how McDonald’s is losing money over this. I was like then charge for it. I handed her $4 and said put 10 sauces in my bag!!! However if I were to ask for 10 ketchup or a handful of ketchup there be no problems! So they rang up 3 apple slices and charged me $1.50. Oh then I waited over 10 minutes for my food. Guess what FRIES ARE COLD!!!! Nasty cold!! Then we get home sat down to eat and the the second bite we find a hair in the cheeseburger!!! I was gonna put a google review but why? Well they are already at 2.0 star rating along with every other McDonald’s in this area and St. Louis. This is sad. I don’t normally go to McDonald’s but when the day is long and not over with this and that to do McDonald’s was the choice. This makes me mad and sad to see. They need new owners...
Read moreMy fiance and I went through the drive thru, and we ordered 20 nuggets. However they were cold so I went inside to ask them for fresh nuggets because they were not. The manager himself (blue long sleeve button up) simply said "we're closed." I then asked him again if we could just simply get a new order of nuggets because mine were old. And he again said, "were closed and we drop of nuggets 48 at a time." I then explained to him that since we had already paid we would just like our nuggets because it was the only thing my sick fiance wanted this day, and I would have preferred our food to be hot. He did tell the back of the house to drop them, and then the worker in the back yelled "were closed!!!!" I watched them throw away food with no gloves, and the kid putting food up did not put on gloves until the manager told him to because I had seen. During the process of my order cooking he began doing things around me such as locking all of the doors and turning off all of the lights except for one. He was extremely rude, and not professional at all, and made me feel really upset. We've decided to not continue using this location...
