I am not a complainer ever....Food wasn’t good, poor service, they were confused between 2 tables and would bring food out and take it back because they got it wrong, and they were defensive with a complaint. I understand it is a tapas restaurant but our whole table clearly ordered individual meals for themselves. The first meal came out 25 minutes before the last. The first meal came out, 10 minutes later the next 2 came out, then the rest trickled in after. We did order slightly after (5 min)for our last meal which was pizza so that was fine that it came out later but the rest were all over the place.

I see your response in reply to my above review .. I am not a complainer and this is the first negative review I’ve literally ever written. I actually did not complain about any of the above you mentioned, and it was wrong to assume this was the same person you dealt with last night. Someone sitting at the other end of the table on the other hand did, but I was not affiliated with any of the complaints. That was very nice you took an item off their receipt however. I did not get anything taken off of my bill because I did not ask nor did I talk to the manager, which was fine... but also why I wrote the review. I also addressed the fact that we ordered the last 2 items later (and ONLY those two items) and they came out later which fine as well. However, the other foods coming out at different times were all ordered at the same exact time. I over heard the French onion soup comments.... it was in no way a complaint or rude. It was literally a joking matter with smiles. I think the response you gave my upper review is a great representation on how you deal with your customers.. we...

First time visit. While the Sunday brunch was available, we went for standatd lunch fare. The Pier is a more upscale environment relative to the sports bar environment of Sharky's. My wife and daughter had the Seasonal Fruit & Feta salad which they raved about. They then shared a shrimp pizza (and took another pizza home to take advantage of the Buy One Get One pizza offer). I had a slice of their pizza, and I loved the crispness of the crust.

I had the Snow Pea appetizer... served in a martini glass, it was snow peas sautéed with shallots and ginger in an Asian sauce served with a dijon aioli sauce on the side. The snow peas were excellent by themselves; I didn't use the aioli as it felt too heavy for the dish. I also ordered oven roasted wings. These were SO good that I felt compelled to order a second serving!

Atmosphere was great. The weather wasn't conducive to deck dining, but the structure looks like it would be great in nicer weather where they can open 2 sides of the restaurant to allow for open-air dining, providing for both covered and uncovered accommodations.

Finally, the server was very friendly and prompt, and the prices seemed to be within reason. A minor issue early on with the appetizer caused the loss of 1 star. I fully expect to go back in the future, and believe we'll have a 5-star experience.

Unimpressed and Underwhelmed

I was genuinely excited to try this place—it was my first time in the area, and the name alone had me curious. A “pier” in a landlocked town should’ve been my first clue. While the atmosphere was the highlight—open-air patio, summer vibes, and a casual sports bar feel—the experience quickly went downhill.

We chose to sit outside, but the menus handed to us were nearly impossible to read due to poor lighting, and I have perfect vision. Service started slow and never picked up. We ordered drinks and waited long enough to decide on dinner before they arrived.

I went with the Jack Daniel’s Chicken Fiesta, avocado corn mash, and a salad. Unfortunately, the chicken was rubbery and drowned in a heavy brown gravy with mushy onions and undercooked peppers. The avocado mash was the only redeeming item—interesting and flavorful, but completely mismatched with the chicken. It would’ve worked better as a standalone appetizer with chips.

The salad was fine, but the wrong dressing was brought out. Despite having plenty of staff on hand, we felt overlooked. No one checked in, offered refills, or asked if we wanted another drink—water, soda, or otherwise.

Overall, it felt like a place coasting on its vibe while neglecting the basics. I won’t be...

Let me say first and foremost. I am originally from Barbados and this restaurant reminded me in Barbados by the atmosphere and the setting of the restaurant. Everyone is so relaxed (fit and vibes) which makes this rating even better. I first started with the half pound of peel and eat shrimp which came in Cajun seasoning and Old Bay seasoning. I then got the seafood Alfredo which I really enjoyed. The Alfredo was quite unique as the flavor paired with the seafood popped inside my mouth with every bit I took. There was garlic bread which came together with it and a salad. Their strawberry dressing which came with it was 10/10. I recommend this place to everyone! 10/10!

Nice atmosphere. Great food. Had their Coal Fired Mac Attack Pizza and Cast Iron Skillet Dill Salmon. Some of the best local food we had in a long time Huge selection of food. Prices range from not bad to pretty expensive (typically for the steak). Their Creme Brûlée was like it was strawberry champagne infused. Definitely try that if they still have it. Will definitely go again.

Went there with my family after a trip to idlewild and it was perfect! We sat on the upper deck outside and it was beautiful! We loved the atmosphere and being outside! My husband and I had the seafood Alfredo and we had the Cajun shrimp for an appetizer, the pasta and appetizer were both delicious! We were super full after the meal! Recommend especially in the summer!
