The Human Bean — Restaurant in Universal City

One word...delicious! I drove up to the speaker and told them it was my first time at their establishment, a kind and entusthiastic male voice responded " geat! drive up and I can help you choose at the window." I drove up to the window and was greeted by a friendly young man who proceeded to ask me what type of drinks I like and then delved into a detailed explanation of the menu. As I listened I realized everything he described sounded scrumptious but I asked if he could craft a particular drink sugar free and he excitedly said yes, so I decided to order the Snowy and asked for cold foam and to my surprise they have sugar free cold foams, which is not common at coffee shops! To sum this up, the drink was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch. I felt like I had stepped into a friend's house for coffee and not another coffee chain....

A new addition to the coffee options in Universal City, Human Bean brews a good cup of coffee. We tried the cold brew black, and an ice latte. The cold brew was a bit thin, and didn't have the usual bright, tangy notes I would expect with an Arabica bean. The ice latte, on the other hand, was quite good, and the shot was smooth with hints of nuttiness and citrus. I'll have to try a hot double espresso on my next visit. Helping the coffee along, was a friendly and pleasant team. The folks were easy to chat with while we waited for our drinks...Cheers!

SUPER CUSTOMIZABLE!!

they offer so many options for sugar-free syrups and they have lots of options for dairy free milk too. i got the sugar-free, dairy-free iced mexi mocha with macadamia nut milk. it's really good! they also waived my payment because it was my birthday :)) and since it was our first time coming here we got stickers. the staff were all really nice too. in comparison, starbucks only offers one sugar-free syrup, so my options there as someone on the ketogenic diet are very limited. i'll definitely be coming...
