I recently visited this daiquiri place with my girlfriend and brother, each of us ordering different flavors. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. The flavors were subpar, and the alcohol content was overpowering. It was hard to discern what type of alcohol they used; it felt like bottom-shelf vodka, rum, or possibly even gin due to its intense flavor. I ordered the Miami Vice, and having tried daiquiris in places like Key West, I can say this tasted like a syrup mixed with bottom-shelf liquor. I wouldn't recommend this place. It's possible that those who enjoyed it might have visited on a day when they were lighter on the low-quality liquor, or their taste buds need to explore better daiquiris elsewhere. San Antonio, being in the desert, might not be the ideal location for daiquiris, but this place falls short of expectations. Houston or New Orleans, which is closer than Key West, likely offers a much better daiquiri experience.

Their response claiming it was due to us adding extra shots is not accurate. We received the drink as it was served. It's okay for them to acknowledge that not everyone is their target audience, but suggesting that our experience was due to adding extra shots isn't accurate. I have some experience with different types of liquor from college, and it's clear that this place uses cheaper options, resulting in less flavor compared to establishments in more competitive areas that...
Read moreFirst off, I just want to say that having a place like this in the neighborhood has been incredible, especially during the pandemic. My husband and I have (7) kids at home and we do not have any time for ourselves, so being able to pick this up on my way home from work is a true blessing. With their super convenient 1/2 gallon bags, we're able to load up the outdoor freezer with 3-4 of these things and be stocked for weeks. I usually come on Friday afternoons and am always welcomed by Josh. He is usually at the window when I come through and he is always courteous, professional, and engaging. All in all, I highly recommend trying this place out and if possible, meeting Josh, as his positive energy will be sure to...
Read moreSo let me explain why I’m writing my review the Sunday morning after my very first visit to SipIT, BECAUSE I JUST WOKE UP! No. Seriously. 😂 I do not know why I got the very delicious Ya Mon 32 ounce on my first visit, but I learned a valuable lesson. Never dive straight in to the deep end of the pool. If you want my honest opinion, the Ya Mon is definitely for the more experienced and professional drinkers, and let me not forget to mention, I didn’t even get an extra shot. The taste of the drinks were AMAZING and are spot on. The price point and quality for the product you get can not be beat. I will definitely come back to try other drinks on their menu in the near future!...
