I recently visited this daiquiri place with my girlfriend and brother, each of us ordering different flavors. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. The flavors were subpar, and the alcohol content was overpowering. It was hard to discern what type of alcohol they used; it felt like bottom-shelf vodka, rum, or possibly even gin due to its intense flavor. I ordered the Miami Vice, and having tried daiquiris in places like Key West, I can say this tasted like a syrup mixed with bottom-shelf liquor. I wouldn't recommend this place. It's possible that those who enjoyed it might have visited on a day when they were lighter on the low-quality liquor, or their taste buds need to explore better daiquiris elsewhere. San Antonio, being in the desert, might not be the ideal location for daiquiris, but this place falls short of expectations. Houston or New Orleans, which is closer than Key West, likely offers a much better daiquiri experience.

Their response claiming it was due to us adding extra shots is not accurate. We received the drink as it was served. It's okay for them to acknowledge that not everyone is their target audience, but suggesting that our experience was due to adding extra shots isn't accurate. I have some experience with different types of liquor from college, and it's clear that this place uses cheaper options, resulting in less flavor compared to establishments in more competitive areas that...

First off, I just want to say that having a place like this in the neighborhood has been incredible, especially during the pandemic. My husband and I have (7) kids at home and we do not have any time for ourselves, so being able to pick this up on my way home from work is a true blessing. With their super convenient 1/2 gallon bags, we're able to load up the outdoor freezer with 3-4 of these things and be stocked for weeks. I usually come on Friday afternoons and am always welcomed by Josh. He is usually at the window when I come through and he is always courteous, professional, and engaging. All in all, I highly recommend trying this place out and if possible, meeting Josh, as his positive energy will be sure to...

So let me explain why I’m writing my review the Sunday morning after my very first visit to SipIT, BECAUSE I JUST WOKE UP! No. Seriously. 😂 I do not know why I got the very delicious Ya Mon 32 ounce on my first visit, but I learned a valuable lesson. Never dive straight in to the deep end of the pool. If you want my honest opinion, the Ya Mon is definitely for the more experienced and professional drinkers, and let me not forget to mention, I didn’t even get an extra shot. The taste of the drinks were AMAZING and are spot on. The price point and quality for the product you get can not be beat. I will definitely come back to try other drinks on their menu in the near future!...

I love this place it is my new favorite! It's a drive thru place to get daiquiris and sodas with "spirits" (alcohol) they have non-alcoholic drinks for kids or people who don't drink so everyone wins! I had the Miami Vice drink and had to drink it slow since I'm not that big of a drinker and since you get it to go, I drank it at home. It tasted oh so good and I have no complaints. My husband had the cyclone which is blue and tasted good as well, but he drank his off before I could get a pic! Lol 🤣 I highly recommend and make sure not to drink (don't even take a sip!) until you get home cuz it's strong lol. I am a lightweight, but still wanted to warn you! Enjoy!!! 🍹🍹

I love Sip It. This is the ONLY place in San Antonio I’ll get a daiquiri. The Hangover and the Alamo are my favorite, but I will switch it up here and there. They’re drinks are strong, delicious and they even have a virgin option. I’ve never had a bad experience since I started coming here 2-3 years ago. The staff have always been kind and courteous and they’ve expanded to different locations in the city. Go to Sip It!

Wow. All I can say. Hurricane is legit, Long Island Iced Tea is delicious and if you're feeling adventurous, tackle a Ya Mon. A 20oz is more than enough to making it right. 32oz and you'll need to take the next day off. Here is what else I can share, we live over by the Leon Valley/Helotes area, and I will make the drive out to Universal City for a daiquiri. Sip It, you're killing it.
