Had I written this review 2 or 4 weeks ago when I went to this bar restaurant the last few times it might have been a four or a five but today it will just get a three. I first started coming here about 4 years ago when we came into the area and the first thing I noticed was 50 cent wings during happy hour then over the years they have changed things they did away with wings and now they're back and they started back with $0.35 wings on Wednesdays so Wing Wednesday and we've been going to Wing Wednesday every couple of weeks and it $0.35 a wing you can't be it well now the rules are changed so instead of what the sign says $0.35 wings it's 35 for boneless wings and $0.45 if you want bone-in wings and you have to order six wings per sauce and now you are limited to 24 wings so the rules are changed and I don't think they're for the better. Before we would stay have a few cocktails and order 30 or 40 wings and then eat them between 3 people now we basically got our wings and a burger we ate it and then left. the burger is a good burger very tasty the fries their hand-cut fries but this time they will way over seasoned and the service was done by a loan bartender who was over overtasked for 3 in the afternoon with six people at the bar so if you don't mind waiting for your drink orders and you want to eat some decent food and maybe watch couple games on TV then this is definitely the...
Read moreThis is a very ROWDY but FUN neighborhood sports bar when there’s a game on. It’s full of fans rooting for our Texas teams and those that grew up here yet root for the Giants, the Patriots, or the Eagles. And many of those rooting for the non Texas teams were born and raised here. I’ve never understood that. One of life’s many mysteries I guess. Oh well, the friendly (yet rowdy) rivalries add to the fun and excitement of this place. There’s LOTS of yelling back and forth across the bar during a game, but it's all good fun.
It’s definitely a fun place to watch a game if you can deal with the rowdy crowds. They’re friendly but rowdy - no stranger danger found here though.
They have the typical bar eats, cheap draft beer, and a full bar for mixed drinks.
I’d give them five stars, but there always seems to be that little chick with a high pitched, nerve rattling, nails on a chalkboard type of voice when I’m there. Her cheers for the Cowboys just seem to stand out above everyone else’s conversations and cheering.
OK, although I’m not kidding about that chick (she always seems to be there) that’s not why I deducted a star.
They lose half a star because you have to walk through the enclosed smoker’s patio before walking in the front door, and another half of a star because the bartenders turn a blind eye to all of those people who are vaping...
Read moreIf you value your personal safety, I would not recommend Tickets. I have been there dozens & dozens of times, believing this place was a cool place to shoot a couple of pool games & have a drink. However, the first time I actually needed the staff to address a highly intoxicated, belligerent, & confrontational stranger (someone whom I had never met before, whom was bouncing up & down, trying to hurl insults, & trying to egg-on an actual physical fight with me), my concerns were treated dismissively by the staff. It was obvious that my safety, & the safety of others, was a bottom priority vs selling more drinks & staff refusing to get involved unless, & until, physical violence had been initiated. While I had seen this many times there (staff seemingly only willing to kick someone out at the point that police needed to be called); I was still shocked by the staff's inaction, while this belligerent person was still currently trying to escalate a situation into violence. I left & have never returned. No place is worth your safety, especially in a state that allows a concealed-carry of a hand gun without a permit or background check. Stay safe out there y'all & I would avoid this place vs gambling...
